HanaPa'a Market is the true definition of a hidden gem! What a delightful surprise to stumble upon this little spot when got hungry on our drive and decided to choose the first food place we see. Don't let the few dine-in seats fool you, for a small eatery, they offer a lot of menu options. We chose the spicy mayo ahi (fresh not frozen) poke bowl with avocado and their blackened ahi burger. We paired the food with cans of POG and passion fruit drinks. Both items were beyond delicious! It was the freshest ahi we had ever had. The flavors in the burger were so well put together. We highly recommend the ahi burger! Fresh, delicious local ahi and tropical juices....our bellies walked away happy.

Today i went in for lunch and i was greeted by the woman behind the register so polietly. She asked me and my co worker if we had any questions to let her know. I ended up getting the blackened ahi plate and i subbed rice for all salad for a 4.00 upcharge . I thought it was worth it. The cashier asked me if i wanted my salad tossed in the dressing after i had already sat down. My ahi was so beautifully candy red with a perfect sear. I am a chef and have my own private chef business and let me tell you i was not disappointed. This is a must if your in that area.. Mahalo for the friendly service and ono food. It's very hard to find good food thats not just hype now days. Maikaʻi....

OMG!! When I tell you that the food at this place is phenomenal!!! I wouldn’t even steer you wrong. We ordered the Pokè Nachos and I almost bit my own hand off!! The tuna was so fresh and fried wonton chips were seasoned to perfection. It was such a filling dish but didn’t leave you feeling heavy or weighed down. They have house favorites and specials and so much more. There’s a variety so there’s something for everyone. The restaurant is small inside with limited space and seating. So be aware of that if you are looking to go in large groups. The price of items is good. I think it was about $19 for the nachos but believe me the portions are well worth it.

This place is basically a Hawaiian fish (both cooked and poke) place. I had a butter garlic blackened ahi sandwich that was surprisingly tasty and tender (not an easy task) . The rest of the family had a miso salmon and baked ahi. Both were very good. By the way, its potato salad was one of the best on the island that I’ve had. Sitting area was limited, but there were some outdoor seatings in this small marina plaza. This was a perfect stop after an arduous hike to the top of Koko Crater that’s 5 minutes away.

My husband and I stopped here on Wednesday after hiking Koko Head. I was exhausted and needed a pick me up and this definitely delivered! I got the Cali Crunch bowl and my husband got spicy Mayo poke with tuna and salmon. Both were phenomenal, truly our favorite meal during our stay in Oahu. We will definitely come here again when we come back! The service was great too, it’s a small restaurant inside but we were able to sit at a table and the food came out super quick and the staff were very friendly!

Hello my friends!!!! This is “Texas” I miss you already! This is the best hands down the best food on the island no one else is even close. The passion and care that go into these dishes is amazing. The zeal to get it right and put out a great product is simply awe inspiring. I ate here three times in my week visit and it only got better each time. I can not recommend this place more. Wonderful people who made me feel like a regular on my first visit. Thank you thank you thank you!
