A really nice intimate venue for our 2019 Father's Day brunch. Granted I had to make reservations 3 months ago but the KCC Culinary Arts students and their instructors put out a great spread, enough to compete with a regular restaurant. I got my crab legs and the prime rib was well seasoned. The fruit, salad and poke station was tasty and well stocked and prepared. The hot foods included Portuguese bean soup, grilled salmon, bacon, link and Portuguese sausages, ribs and chicken and dad's favorite, powdered eggs! Another impressive station were the Bahnmi mini sliders with braised beef and fresh veggies. The desserts looked impressive but the cake I had was too tart. But all in all, it wax a nice place to hang out this morning. The only glitch is the parking is so far from the building. Can't wait till the restaurant moves into the old Cannon Club...
Read moreI'd heard about the restaurant from friends and it took me 2 years to get a reservation because they are only open for (2) 2 month windows during spring and fall semesters for lunch and dinner. Reservation times become available for online booking on Open Table 30 days prior to the Restaurant start date, so I had to make a calendar reminder in November to be sure to get in this year. They were wonderful! The food was excellent, gourmet quality. They don't have alcohol or much beverage choice aside from tea and water.
