First off, I grew up on this restaurant. My family frequented this place when i was growing up. It’s been awhile since I’ve been there. After not eating there for a while, my gf and I went for lunch on Sunday probably about 1:30 PM. The place wasn’t that busy. We were seated and nothing was wrong with the booth or the ambiance. It took nearly 10 minutes for one of the servers to come see us. Once our server came over, we gave her our complete order: 2 drinks, 1 appetizer, and 2 entrees. The first thing on the table was the appetizer. Our drinks came about 5 minutes later and we were already half way done with the spring rolls (appetizer). About may be 5-7 minutes later, our entrees arrive. My gf and I have no complaints about the food. The Pad Thai was great! It had the perfect level of spice and it tasted fresh. Well, we spent may be 20-30ish more minutes eating, but we both became full, so we needed to-go boxes and the check. We didn’t see where our server was, and we saw other servers doing side work and talking amongst themselves. At this point, it’s been nearly 25 minutes since we finished what we were going to eat and waiting for our server to get us checked out and ask for to-go boxes. I told my gf that she should go wait in the car and I’ll be out once our server returns and I finish paying. My gf leaves and it’s another 10ish minutes before the server comes up to the table and asks me if everything is all right. After I tell the server what I needed, she brought me the boxes and the check. My gf and I spent nearly 35 minutes just to close out.
My point: I think there’s new management running this place, but whoever is running it needs to train the servers better. Our server seemed inattentive and uninterested. I was a server since I was 15 and im 30 now. I don’t think servers need to be at a table hand and foot every 2 minutes, but you should at least check on your tables at an appropriate frequency to seem like you actually care to be...

One of the first things I noticed was how many options there are on the menu—there’s truly something for everyone, no matter what you’re craving. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient as we looked through all the choices, and they were happy to answer every question we had without rushing us.
When the food arrived, it did not disappoint. The flavors were absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous—definitely more than enough to leave you satisfied. I ordered the #2 with medium heat, and it was hotter than I wanted. Next time I’ll go with the #1 heat level, which is still quite spicy but more to my taste.
What I really appreciate is how versatile the menu is; whether you’re a spice lover, a vegetarian, or just trying Thai food for the first time, there’s something for you here. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying something new on my next visit. And on top of that, I’ve got my eye on their pistachio cake—it sounds like the perfect way to end a meal at this gem of a restaurant.
Taste of Thailand has won me over with their hospitality, quality, and variety—I can’t...
Read moreThe atmosphere of this place is perfect for a date: as you can see in the photo, the room is dimly lit and adorned with lovely details. We visited on a Sunday and only saw one other company across the room from us, with the rest of the tables unoccupied, which provided intimacy. The service was great: our waitress didn't bother us much, but was very helpful recommending us things to try as we wanted to get ourselves acquainted with the Thai cuisine. Their Tom Kha soup with coconut broth, a touch of lime, chicken (you can also choose to make it with veggies or beef), and freshly cut crispy onions was fresh, light, and delicious! We also introduced ourselves to Red Curry with bamboo and beef (you can also opt for chicken) was slightly spicy, creamy, and rich in flavor; and the funny named Bagle Roll, though not of Thai origin at all, tasted great as well, thanks to the unfailing combination of smoked salmon and cream cheese. My Cosmopolitan coctail wasn't a masterpiece, the taste of alcohol itself was pretty rough; but maybe it is just not the right place to order such things. However, the glassware was nice and they served water in glass, too, which was a nice touch and added to the whole vibe of the restaurant. I recommend this place if you want to try something different in a lovely, calm, even romantic...
