Great food, and super friendly family that runs it. Cant recommend it more. Would give 6 stars if it was possible.
This is my new favorite place to eat. I usually get the pad kee mao with beef and add a fried egg (trust me the egg is a great addition). Its like noodles with vegetables and beef. I tried the other noodles, which are also good, but the sauce in this one is the best.
Or i get the panang chicken. (its like the thai version of butter chicken almost). Its really good, and i think its a safe bet if you are new to this type of food or a picky eater.
And the spring rolls are pretty legit as well.
There are other items i have not tried yet - but i already have my favorites and i hesitate to try something new.
My only comments are i wish they were open more days in the week (but i understand they need a break too because the days they are open its back to back orders - super super busy).
And i wish we could sit inside - but i also understand they are super busy so it doesnt make sense from their perspectice to support that function - the model they have already works.
Another comment; is that sometimes it is hard to get a call in. You call over and over again and you get a busy tone. (because how busy they are) Worst case scenario is you show up and place your order and wait for it - which is not too bad if you can find a parking spot.
you know the place is good when all your complaints are about how busy they are lol!
Note: if its you first time eating here - dont be weirded out by the gas station vibes. It looks sketchy - but the food is...
Read moreOMG!! The food here is phenomenal! Close your eyes and you'll swear you're in Thailand! I've heard the gripes about parking and seating and it's totally irrelevant... it' SO worth the hassle and gives them their own lil je ne sais quoi.
There are a zillion fern bars with gobs of seating and plenty of places with great ambiance and MEH food... BUT if you're seeking great Thai food- you'll find it here! Look NO FURTHER! Go early for a seat or get it to go... It is just as good once you get it home- maybe better bc the sauces have time to sit and meld with the dishes.
I was born and raised in Asia, have visited Thailand thrice and even had a Thai boyfriend who's mom THREW DOWN in the kitchen- I swear it is equally fantastic @ Blue Pacific!!! Better bc this gem is in Bham where you won't otherwise find such authenticity.
Won't tell you what you need to order bc it's ALL great, they've never disappointed me! I give them 5 meeellion stars!!! So glad they've re-opened! Live very close and they are literally a 3 night a week stop- it's priced very fair and the portions are perfectly sized... Easier/tastier/cheaper/and healthier than going home and throwing something together for myself last minute- It's my bachelorette dream spot!! Only complaint I have is that I wish they were open...
Read moreI came here because I’m a fan of Thai Food and because of the amount of good reviews (that’s always something important for me to make the decision of whether or not to eat at the place), but definitely not worth it. I tried 3 different plates (Basil Fried Rice, Rad Na Noodles & Pad Si Ew Noodles) and all of them were a 5/10 in flavor. I have tried a lot of Thai Food places with better flavor and even prices. Also, I ordered all of the plates with “combination” of meats what were supposed to include beef, pork, shrimp and chicken and I only found in my rice 2 pieces of beef, 2 pieces of shrimp and everything else was CHICKEN. I went in and let the owner know and he started to stir my food with a fork looking for the beef as if I was lying, then when he saw that it was true he just took my rice and threw it away with attitude and without even asking to make me a new one, when I just wanted more of the missing meat because my intention wasn’t a new whole order (I hate wasting food). And if the intention was making a new order and threw away the current one, you should at least leaving it to the customer, that speaks better of you as a business than just throwing it away and wasting it, at least if the mistake was yours as a business.
Other than that, the other staff were...
