Everything was absolutely perfect: food, service, cleanliness, atmosphere, etc. we ordered the Thai iced tea, vegetable spring rolls, Tom Kha with tofu, Tom Yum with shrimp, pork gyoza, chicken laab, and paneang curry with chicken. When we originally stopped in, we thought the establishment was take out only. I was pleasantly surprised to find ample seating. Everything came out hot and fresh!
The spring rolls were tasty but the pork gyoza really stood out as an appetizer. The accompanying sauce wasn’t necessary since there was plenty of flavor but wow is that a subtle and tasty sauce. It’s reminiscent of a curry broth and paired nicely with the gyoza.
Both soups were quite delicious. The tofu in the Tom Kha had been slightly fried or grilled which added a nice texture. The shrimp in the Tom Yum were plump, fresh, and plentiful! The chicken laab was the BEST I’ve ever had and I’ve had quite a bit. This is how it’s supposed to taste with the tangy flavor not being muted by the accompanying cabbage! Yum!! Finally, the panaeng curry was so rich and flavorful with a medium weight broth.
The restroom was clean to boot! I’ll definitely be back. It was worth every penny. The staff is so friendly and welcoming as well. They’ve thought of every little detail: lemons at the ready plus cane syrup (homemade lemonade??), take out containers and bags neatly placed for customers, traditional condiments on the tables. This place will...

Yum Yai Street Thai is truly a standout dining experience! From the moment we walked in, the service was among the best I’ve ever encountered. Our waitress was incredibly attentive and gave fantastic recommendations, including their signature cocktail, the “White Christmas,” which was absolutely delightful.
To start, I ordered the Thai Curry Rolls, and they were beyond amazing—perfectly crispy and bursting with flavor. For the main course, I tried the “What The Pho” with beef, and it was so flavorful and comforting that I couldn’t get enough. My aunt and I were so impressed that we started picking random items off the menu to try, and not a single dish disappointed. We also indulged in Thai Green Tea, Crème Brûlée, warm Sake, and more. Everything was simply exceptional.
The atmosphere of Yum Yai Street Thai is as wonderful as the food—warm, welcoming, and beautifully designed. It’s the kind of place where you feel so relaxed and happy that you lose track of time (we even forgot they closed mid-day at 2 PM!).
If you’re looking for authentic and flavorful Thai cuisine paired with top-notch service and an inviting ambiance, I highly recommend Yum Yai Street Thai. It’s a 10/10 experience, and I promise you won’t be...
Read moreI have come here before while they were not busy and the food was delicious. I came here again today while they were lightly busy (4 tables), and the cashier was extremely rude when I asked for my food to be prepared a little differently. It’s understandable they are busy, but she could have politely said they were busy instead of rudely denying my request. Unsure about coming back....
Since I can’t respond to the owner I’m editing my response. All I asked was for the vegetables to be on the side. Your waiter’s response to me is “no no thats too much work we can’t do that we are too busy for that.” You cooked the vegetables and threw them on top of the noodles. All I asked was for those veggies to be put on the side as my friend can’t eat vegetables. The vegetables weren't cooked into the noodles like your are trying to imply.
No matter how busy you are, you should never snap back at a customer. Especially one who wasn’t being rude in any way and had potential of being a regular. I have worked in the food buisiness for 7 years and never have I once snapped at a customer, even if there was a line out the door. And if I were to ever, I would have given an...
