This is a newly renovated business. As such we had high expectations even though it's a waffle house. We were sadly mistaken. Upon entering Noone acknowledged our arrival or even our existence. We sat in a booth and were politely neglected. After waiting 10 minutes or so to figure out who our waitress was, we realized she had no intention on serving us. When she finally did come over to us she started blankly at us as if we were aliens and she could not understand what we were saying. Took the drink order and stopped them down and left us on our own again for at least another 5 minutes. Upon her arrival back at our table she asked if our order had been taken yet?! Ummmm...excuse me? No ma'am, you have not taken our order yet. 😒 She turns and walks off yet again. We were to learn this is her usual performance. We however did have entertainment. The guest beside us had brought his Bluetooth speaker in and was playing a lovely mix of blues. If only the volume were not at max level it would have been enjoyable. She returns to take our order, with no desire to be at our table or seemingly at work for that matter. Never heard our order being called out. 🤔 Approximately 15 minutes later the cook approached our table with 2 plates and sat them in front of us and asked if there was anything else he could get us. Perhaps the rest of our order...?!?! Alas, the food was cold. Not just room temperature warm, but down right cold. The butter would not melt on the waffle and the cheese not melting on omelet. Complete and udder fail! When she noticed we were not eating she came back and asked if everything was OK. We stated food was cold, and you guessed it, she turned and walked away?! To get a manager perhaps? To have food remade? No... to get the bill!!! PLEASE DO NOT GOTO THIS...
Read moreIf I could give this location zero stars, I would do it without hesitation. The wait for a clean table was ridiculously long. There were associates standing around, yet the only person cleaning and trying to direct customers when they come in, is an elderly, frail woman. Our waiter Blake was the worst thing in this place. He constantly messed up orders, knew things weren't correct, yet he didn't correct them or the prices because he was "too lazy" to find them on the menu(his words not mine). We never got our water refilled, received a blueberry waffle harder than a rock, and didn't get the bacon we ordered with the All Star Special. When I made him aware of the issue, he still didn't give us water, and just about threw my waffle at me(which wasn't even bluberry, as ordered). It's one thing to make mistakes on a busy day and not be aware of it. However, when you KNOW you've made a mistake and are even made aware of it AGAIN, there is no excuse to still not do your job correctly. I really hope Blake can learn to develop his customer service skills to the level needed for his job instead of the subpar behavior...
Read moreWaffle house is good for my version of eating healthy. I know that sounds crazy but hear me out, or read me out.. when your other options are fast food or gas station snacks for random quick times u can slip in a lunch during the work day, calling ahead to order steaks and pork chops & stuff means I can kinda eat low carb in a fast food, on the go, spur-of-the-moment can grab some food between jobs kinda way & not have to have everything be in a bun or sauce or just whatever with the carbs & whatnot. If it says I ate here then it must be reviewing 1 of the 1s that actually answered their phone & took my "to go" order which makes them pretty great to me cuz lots of waffle house locations don't seem to answer their dang phone to do that which is frustrating, but not this 1, this 1 did answer their phone. So...
