Frank's Pizza (Hopatcong) — Restaurant in Hopatcong

Been going to Franks for 16 years, and in all that time we have only been disappointed maybe once a year, mostly by an item not made the way it was ordered. We order the pizza extra crispy which then is cooked to perfection. Their sauce is so good, we often order it by the pint. Steak, sausage and meatball sandwiches are also very good, although sometimes inconsistent with the amount of meat. I have tried La Vigna (now Joey's) but the pizza is too thin and the crust tasteless. I have never had any trouble with the girls "gossiping" at Franks, as one other reviewer mentioned, and have never had trouble getting my food once I am in the restaurant. I do always add 5-10 minutes to whatever they tell me when I call, and have hardly ever had to wait nor have I ever received a cold pie. For 16 years of patronization, that isn't so bad. Came here 2 years ago 10 minutes before closing and made an offer on pizza they most likely planned to throw out. I paid 20 bucks for 5 boxes of miscellaneous high end pizza slices they were going to get rid of anyways and went home a happy man, me and my buddies smacked on decedent, delicious, classic Italian pizza for 3 hours straight and it was the highlight of our trip to NYC (we got pizza on the way back) One of the workers there watched Dragonball Z and we complimented one of the drawings he had drew on the wall of a character from the show. It’s really quite impossible for me to drive past Frank’s after work and not stop in for at least a slice! They also have a full menu of authentic Italian entree’s and appetizers. You can call ahead for a take-out order. The Chicken Franchisee is my personal favorite. They have been in business since 1985. It’s clean! So clean! It’s cute as ever!
