I ordered from here for the first time today and was pretty disappointed. I ordered pad see ew, but what I got looks and tastes exactly like pad thai. We called to tell them they gave us the wrong order, but they assured us it was correct and that they just use pad thai noodles for pad see ew. Here’s a photo. If this is their pad see ew, I’d love to know what their pad thai is, because what I was served is clearly pad thai (and dry pad thai at that).

Ordered takeout today and food was delicious. Ordered pad see ew, pad khing & massamun curry with vegetables & tofu. Appetizer was satay chicken with thai twist salad on ginger orange dressing. Dessert was coconut ice cream and bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. The waitress staff was friendly and very helpful with my order. I like the ambience of this nostalgic eatery. I hope to return for a sit-down one day.

Well this was somewhat disappointing I've gotten the red curry before it's always delicious and well balanced. I decided to order "Royal Pad Thai" with shrimp Menu description: Stir-fried thin rice noodles with chopped shallots, chopped turnips, scrambled eggs, scallions, bean sprouts, fried tofu and crushed peanuts. No scallions, maybe a few bean sprouts, no turnips, no crushed peanuts. Mostly oily noodles

Average at Best! This place isn't horrible, BUT kind of strange. I ordered Massaman Curry with chicken and the sauce was very watery. The Pad Thai didn't have much egg in it or other ingredients (onions, brocolli, bean sprouts) that you would normally see in Pad Thai and the sauce tasted like something you'd get out of a grocery store instasauce packet (not terrible, but not great either). The Hot Lovin, which is supposed to be fried Jalapenos which I expected to be fresh and with a thai twist to it ended up tasting just like the jalapeno poppers you get from the grocery store with the cheddar cheese in the middle; i'm not saying they did this, but my suspicion is they bought the amount I got for $2 at the grocery store, and refried it and served it up for a little over double the price or more if they got all of it on clearance. The beef satay was a very small amount of beef with very small strips. The soup was very meh!! The good thing is that it isn't awful, but for the money, i'll stick with Cravin Thai or Thai nam Phet. It's obvious there are some cost saving measures they've employed and many people in the area are locked in to that back part of Lake Hopatcong and there isn't any place else within a reasonable distance to go besides here for Thai. When you walk in, there are strange red flags all over the place. All of their container boxes and utensil boxes, clothin and board games are all out on display, and here's the kicker, there is a beach lounge chair with a crumpled up pillow and cheap blanket right next to the divider wall that looks like it's been quite used; seriously?? People are sleeping there in the dining room area even if it is for a little kid? I'm never going...

So first time eating here. And I have to say holy moly this place hits hard. We got the Royal Pad Thai , the pineapple fried rice and the chicken puff The Chicken Puff are utterly straight additive literally the crack of the food world . Delightfully flaky and full of delicious flavor inside wow. The Royal Pad Thai was amazing the sauce and flavor was on ALL the noodles No bland spots and it was a blast of flavors that is amazing. The Fried rice is what you would expect with a nice sweet and refreshing bombs inside with the tomatoes and pineapples wow crazy good. ALL of the dipping sauces had this super refreshing taste that would make your mouth fresh and ready for another bite. This place is an absolute hidden gem. This is my new favorite spot hands down. I can’t post pictures because we destroyed the dishes there was nothing to take a picture of lol This...

I know the restaurant is called Twist On Thai and some of the ingredients listed on the menu do not belong in the original version of the dish (again, this is a twist on Thai, so I guess it's ok,) but the dish lacked most of the ingredients listed on the menu, which are the ingredients that are basic ingredients in this dish. I ordered Pad Thai. It did not have scallions, tofu, egg, bean sprout or peanuts. I guess the twist was turnip because it's not the usual vegetable in this dish, but having said that, the dish did not have the turnip in it either. It was basically noodles with shrimp. The only thing that resembled Pad Thai was the right noodles and the sauce which tasted like Pad Thai but it was very scarce and the...
