When I went to Stonybrook watershed, discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant. This eatery offered a delightful dining experience with a menu that catered to different tastes. My wife and I had the pleasure of trying their squash soup, caprese sandwich, and veggie black bean burger. The dishes were flavorful and satisfying, but what really stood out were the side salads that accompanied them. The salads, with their crisp greens and the tangy balsamic vinegar dressing, perfectly complemented the meal, particularly the caprese sandwich. If you're looking for a pleasant dining experience with delicious food and delectable side salads, this is the place to go!

I placed a large lunch order for my work group. I selected the baby spinach salad, arugula salad, and Greek salad. Each came with a homemade dressing that had a unique flavor and natural ingredients. To top the salads, I ordered grilled chicken and salmon. The salads were fresh and the proteins were juicy. Awesome rolls accompanied the meal. The portions were generous too! Barry, the owner worked with me directly to plan the menu. He was responsive, pleasant, and delivered when promised. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and I will definitely patronize The Peasant Grill again and again. So should you!

This very reasonable, deli style place was a great experience. I ordered the Club on Rye and it came with one side. It was hard because they had a lot of great sides, and healthy choices but I went with the Rice and Chickpeas. The sandwich was very mixed sized, had a lot of flavor and tasted very fresh. The rice mix was perfect. The other food around looked so good and the menu was unique, they also had a lot of deserts. I would highly recommend this place.

Safety Concern at Your Restaurant Entrance Today, Wednesday, May 28, around 5:00 PM, I visited your restaurant to pick up takeout. It was raining at the time, and upon entering, I slipped and fell hard in the foyer area. The floor was extremely slippery, and there was no proper mat or non-slip covering at the entrance to prevent such an incident. Additionally, there was no yellow "Wet Floor" sign placed to warn customers of the hazard. Despite wearing sneakers with good grip, I lost my footing and landed heavily. A fellow customer kindly helped me up, but I was left in pain — my arm, wrist, and hip were badly hurt. Now, hours later, my body is still hurting, and I’m monitoring the pain to see if I need to seek medical attention. What was most disappointing, however, was that none of the staff—despite witnessing the fall—offered any assistance, not even a glass of water. Thankfully, my elderly mother-in-law, who was with me, did not fall. I shudder to think how much worse this could have been had she slipped as well. I looked for a way to contact you directly, but since there is no email address listed on your website, I felt I had no choice but to post this publicly on Google Reviews in the hope that someone from management will see it and take action. I sincerely hope you will take this matter seriously and implement immediate safety improvements to the entrance—especially in wet weather—to prevent injuries to...

Me and my friends came here excited to eat. We looked on their displayed menu. We sat ourselves in their dining area and called in our order. We were laughing and having fun. My friends are vegan and so had a few questions regarding the food. A man in a black t shirt came out while my friend is on the phone ordering and very rudely and aggressively screamed at us everything we have is right here on the menu you know. I was a bit shocked considering they was also a child sitting behind us. The girl taking our order was nice but very unhelpful. They also basically laughed when we asked for water. We decided to leave because of the extremely poor service. At this point we are walking on the other side of the street when the same man came out just to yell did we still want our order. Now mind you we are power walking away... It’s really a shame... We were looking forward to trying the food and I was already set to throw a good tip down. Paying customers have every right to ask questions regarding ingredients and food prep. They are things such as allergies and lifestyle choices. I never leave reviews. Ever. Unless it’s good. However you can not treat people this disrespectfully and work in the public. I am...

This cozy eatery lives up to its name: simple, delicious fare served in ample quantities, in a pleasant setting. I had the portabello sandwich on a whole wheat bun that was excellent. My side was broccoli rabe, which is notorious for its possible bitterness, but the Grill's was tangy and delicious. A friend had the baked salmon which she said was great. Another had the quiche made with bree, which was super creamy. The soups were wonderful and the meatballs, lovingly made by hand daily, according to the manager, Barry, were huge and scrumptious. At the end of our meal, several took home substantial doggy bags to enjoy the next day, but, unfortunately, none of us had room for dessert. That looked like a real loss, because there were two cases full of home-made desserts and baked goods to choose from. Oh well, I guess I will just have to go back for a mid-afternoon treat. Him, I think I'll do that sooner rather than later, and...
