I don’t remember how I first heard about Seeds to Sew International, but I’m glad I did! I reached out to the organization back in May, I had checked out their website and was interested in buying a knapsack. Nina, the Operation Manager got back to me quickly, and sent me attachments for the patterns they had for the knapsack which was helpful. Since I wasn’t able to stop at the store, she let me know I could purchase the knapsack at the Pennington Farmers Market. That’s where I picked up a knapsack and also bought a bracelet. Great customer service! I’ve had the knapsack since May and I like it a lot! Which means I use it a lot, I put my sunglasses, makeup bag, small water bottle etc. It works great for smaller items at the farmers market. Since, I’ve used it a lot I’ve washed it a few times. I was originally going to hand wash it but instead I put the knapsack in a garment bag in cold water and had it air dry, and had good results. I like the bracelet I bought too, it looks blue and orange but in the sun it looks purple. It’s a fun piece of jewelry I like to wear for a pop of color. Most importantly Seeds to Sew is supporting women and girls in Kenya to make their lives better with the items they sell! Check out their website and store, I think you’ll find something you like!

Great great shop for a great great cause. I love it. You will find hand made tablecloths, gift bags (to get rid of gift paper), clothes etc and ALEP SOAP! Yes!

Cute little shop with a mix of items in a shared space. So some seem specific to the project of educating girls in Kenya, while the clothing line (I noticed a made in China tag) may support the local site. I was told it was non profit. Very nice women there explained the project to me patiently answering my questions. If I had the time I would have taken her up on her offer to make a few stitches in her flat bags to be able to add a bottom for groceries. Next time I have a lunch date in town, I think I will go a little early to do so....

Awesome, unique items and reusable gift wrapping bags. Everything they sell is handmade and helps provide economic opportunity and education for women and girls globally. When I need a gift, I...
