I live in Brooklyn, New York, no reason to go anywhere else for pizza. Wrong! With that said; Nomad Pizza left a huge impression on me! First time I've visited was in summer of 2015 with my friends. Diligent food, lovely staff, and nature focused atmosphere. Everything is just as I would fantasize before ever going there. I been occasionally going once or twice a year on my way back to the city, from hiking and kayaking. It's well known to locals, yet outsiders are wholesomely welcome too. Say no more. Five stars!

If you are looking for an authentic Neapolitan pizza then this is not it It’s more of a wood fired pizza The pizza was sub par We had the pesto pizza - 4/5 - nothing fancy just an average pizza Pizza di bufala -3/5 - the sauce want great and the bufala was dry and chewy The service was okay as well , they were eagerly waiting for us to leave the place and kept repeatedly asking if our meal was done whilst we were waiting for the second pizza They have outdoor sitting and limited wine selection

Great location and Pizza. Everyone said I should visit this location first before I go to the Princeton location (I get it now). The pizza was good crust was tasty but personally I like it a bit more crispy. The highlight of the night was the Nutella Pizza. If you can withstand the calories I highly recommend saving some space for it. The outdoor seating was simple and elegant at the same time. We will be back again. $$

They were so rude and incompetent that I didn't actually get to eat the pizza I'd ordered. I called in an order in advance and they confirmed the time it would be ready, but when I got there I was told "we didn't make your order.... but if you wait 15 min we could make a new pizza." When I explained that I had a fever and couldn't wait that long, the hostess didn't apologize for their mistake, just nonchalantly moved on with her other tasks. This irked me so I pushed for more info about my order. It turned out that they had messed up my order and my name, so actually there was a pizza waiting for me, one different from the one I ordered and by now probably lukewarm at best. They hadn't told me over the phone that they were cash-only (what kind of non-money laundering business is cash-only in 2018?) and I didn't have 100% of the cost in cash but only 75% of it. I said I could bring the remainder tomorrow - after all they've messed up my order, it's been sitting out so long it's no longer hot, and are charging me more for a pizza different from what I actually ordered. But they insisted that I go to the ATM, which I refused out of principle. It was 13F degrees outside and very windy, I had a fever and a need to go home, not the ATM, no matter it's location.

Local and natural? Who cares, they totally lack decency and...

The only reason this place deserves any stars at all is that the food is pretty consistent and you can tell they are using quality ingredients.

I have been coming here on and off for the 8 years we've lived in the borough, and I've always managed to overlook the terrible service. This past week, however, was last time.

As I walked up to the restaurant I was stopped by a server who asked if she could help me despite seeming confused. I gave her my name and was told my food is probably not going to be ready on time but she'll check. 20 minutes of standing outside waiting for her to come back and still nothing.

I finally approached her again at which point she came clean that she never checked on my food. She came back out 5 minutes later to tell me they didn't have the ingredients for my pizza. I put my online order in at 5:35PM and they set my pickup time at 7:25PM. IN WHAT WORLD IS 2 HOURS NOT ENOUGH TO CALL YOUR CUSTOMER?!?!?

Anyway, ended up standing outside of this place for 40 min after an already 2 hour lead time when I put the order in online. All that and not even an apology or like "hey here's $10 off your order". NOTHING. They do NOT care about their customers. Foods...

$72 for just two pizzas? Seriously?

The pizza is decent and the place is charming, with a lovely terrace — normally we’d love to come back. The staff have never been particularly professional, but the cozy atmosphere usually made visits enjoyable. On Tuesdays, they advertise a free Margherita pizza — honestly, I didn’t care about that. All I wanted was a couple of pizzas and a nice evening, but we were charged an automatic $18 gratuity (~35% (!!!!) for two people, even though the menu says 20% applies only to parties of 6+.

Between the excessive charge and the misleading promotion, the experience left us feeling disappointed and misled. Sure, all of this would be fine… if somewhere it actually said: ‘BYOB allowed, another pizza to go, and 35% mandatory gratuity.’ I really hope this is just this one location — is this only on Tuesdays? And is this the charge for a “free” Margherita? What about...
