Hopewell Theater — Attraction in Hopewell

We went to see Martha Redbone at the theater a few weeks ago. What more can I say other than it was without a doubt the perfect experience! The theater itself is beautiful inside, lots of room even if the show were sold out. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Sound and sightlines could not have been better. About the only thing I could see being problematic would be parking if a show were full and the patrons weren't capable of walking some distance (like if I brought my parents I'd likely drop them off in front then go find some street parking). A really special place, just reopened and refurbished. The owners are connected to the community, honoring a local woman before the show I saw, and featuring live, local talent. I hope the place thrives and does well. It features a variety of films and events in a cozy, upscale space. Lighting and sound were professional and added to the show. Really intimate theater - no bad seats except Row A - with a shelf to hold food and drink but very hard to get in and out. Tables in front section looked good if you're close to the stage - otherwise it looked like there could be some heads obstructing the view. Bringing beer and wine from the outside is OK, and small plates of basic food can be purchased. Sound and lighting were excellent.
