Sweet Racks Smokin' Butts BBQ — Restaurant in Hopkins Township

During our initial vendor search, my (now) husband and I had a hard time finding a caterer who could accommodate our dream BBQ menu, preferred service style (family style) and our budget. We’d had Sweet Racks food at our local pumpkin patch and really enjoyed it. On a whim, I reached out to Josh to see if his team could cater our wedding. Our priorities were having delicious food, served hot and to have all our guests eating at the same time (rather than half the guests waiting in a buffet line while the other half were already done eating). The team went above and beyond to accommodate our vision. The food was served promptly, and all of our guests ate family style food (brisket, pulled chicken, baked beans, mac & cheese and rolls/cornbread). The food was delicious, and our guests are still raving about how good it was. I am so pleased with the speed of service and how efficiently food was served and cleared. We rented dishes from a local rental company and Josh’s team set our tables, cleared dishes, rinsed, and re-racked them. Josh himself was unable to be at our wedding physically but he communicated every detail perfectly to his team and they delivered. We feel so fortunate and will be lifelong Sweet...

We initially were interested in Sweet Racks and Smoking Butts because of the name. I mean, who wouldn’t be interested. We had a taste test in March and were blown away from the quality and taste of their food!! Our wedding was this last weekend and our guests were very impressed. They all raved about the food. I highly suggest, the pork, chicken wings, the macaroni is phenomenal, coleslaw and beans! Josh and his staff were also very accommodating to those with gluten intolerances. 10 out of 10 service and quality! Thanks guys! We hired the truck with full menu for our son's graduation open house and I can't recommend them enough. They arrived a few hours before the event to get set up and were ready to go the minute guests started arriving. Chris and Josh are a stellar team. Super personable, friendly, and made everyone feel well cared for. The food is amazing. Fan favorites included the loaded Mac and cheese, the heifer, lord of swine, and the bert-itto. Favorite sides were their amazing beans and potato salad...and again the mac and cheese. If you get the chance to see them at a stop, do it! And hire them for...
