First, I love chick fil a, but this particular visit was terrible. First, I was parked in the wrong spot, mostly my fault, I called the restaurant and spoke with a Mathew, asked where to go and moved about 4 or 5 minutes after I was notified that my meal would be delivered. I was parked properly now and waited, and waited...about 10 minutes later, having no one approach me, ask what my order was, or why I'd been sitting there watching multiple drive through orders go by with their orders I finally got someone's attention and asked about my order. It had been about 20 minutes now. They find my order bring it to me with a mumbled sorry for the wait and walked away. I was now late and drove away. I'll take a bit of the responsibility for not double checking my order, but I saw the women who brought me my order look into the bag. After driving away I found my fries cold (duh they'd been sitting for almost 20 minutes), no ketchup, no ranch, no straw, and later found no pickles on my sandwich. I'm still wondering why Mathew didn't bring it to someone's attention that I'd be driving around and my food was ready. A lot of missed opportunities. I won't stop being a customer or anything dramatic, I more then likely won't find myself on that side of Kentucky again, but want to bring it to the attention of the owner/management. Maybe your employees have lost that connection with guests, since the dinning room isn't open, they do little now, just giving a bag through a window and move away quickly. I am not just a fan of Chick-fil-A. I'm a full blown fanatic. Their #preblessed chicken is food from God. I think Chick-fil-A found the recipe to mana and just call it chicken. I walk up to the counter and I feel like a long lost friend with the way they smile and greet you. I always--always get the chicken nuggets ( #teamnuggets ) with Poly sauce, waffle fries, and that nectar of the gods (lemonade). Do you know what the checkout gentleman had the audacity to say when I asked for extra Polynesian sauce? It would be my pleasure. I'd shout hallelujah right now if it wasn't 5 AM while my husband is sleeping and I'm dreaming of Chick-fil-A. Because I do live about 45 minutes from the nearest location, I do usually buy a larger container of Poly sauce so I can add it to the mediocre human quality of chicken I have at home.
