Jasmine Buffet Hibachi Grill And Sushi — Restaurant in Hopkinsville

Jasmine buffet USE to be a great place to have a family meal. My wife is not able to eat fast food, deep fried foods. She has never liked Chinese food, anyway. She still wanted to go out as a family. She has autoimmune issues that also involve her not being able to eat much of anything. My son, daughter and I happen to love Chinese food. We told them when we're being seated, that she will only have a drink, that's all she had. They hounded us the entire time to ensure my wife would not eat from there skimpy buffet. The Hibachi Grill isn't functioning, but is advertised outside to bring you in. The sushi that most people love is hardly available on the bar. I had to ask for it. When the worker brought the sushi out, there was only like 12 pieces, and was gone in no time. The thin short female waitress has absolutely no hospitality skills along with the young boy that was running the cash register. They still tried to charge us a meal for her. I scratched it out and put a 3 in place of the four. This is the 2nd time frequenting this place. There will NOT be a 3rd. My wife was embarrassed over there antics. I eat Asian Food often. Quality of food is worse than most dorm food of typical colleges. Cleanliness of foods are in questions. Often after consumption, you don't feel well. Restroom has been broken for about a year without repair. Wondered how this place even passed city inspection ? You even wonder whether employees wash their hands after use.

Waitress are unfriendly. First - they forgot how to smile. Second in many cases - I feel they are simply lazy. I get about 5 plates and no one even been here to clean off plates. This makes people wondered why even to pay for tips.

Price is comparably expensive for Quality of foods & services that you receive.

If I am going to have a word to the owner: I really do not owe you ! Neither as people who spend money in the restaurant. I am not there to spend money for far below average of services. Your restaurant is a disgrace to taste & quality Asian dining. It seems you are never there for any kind of supervision.

Oh - by the way: who keeps singing in the kitchen so loud ?? I also hope he does not spit in food while he's making loud singing. If I want to hear someone to sing - I will go to concerts - not...

If I could rate less than 1 star, I would. My wife and I used to eat here regularly, but have not been able to for a couple of months. Before today we had never had a bad experience. Today's experience ended that streak. I really enjoy hot & sour soup, however what was out was old and was like sludge. My wife was eating the baked crab and cheese dish from the buffet by the desserts, closest to the tables. She took a bite and had to pull a hair out of the food. She was trying to get the waitress' attention to show it to her but the fan blew it off of the napkin she had it on. When she was speaking to the owner's wife, she described the hair to her and was told that none of the back staff has long hair. The hair was about 3 inches long and very dark. Still acting like it had nothing to do with the restaurant, she took 10% of of a $25.13 bill. But somehow it still cost $24 and change. After today we will find another restaurant...
