Waitress got our drink order then didn't see her for 15 minutes to take our food order. Cheese dip was luke cool. My chili rellenos were cold inside. Cheese was in whole pieces, unmelted. My boyfriend's food was hot but tortillas cold. The manager told me it was supposed to be like that and proceeded to tell me they use a cheese that does not melt. I asked him if he uses the same cheese as other Mexican restaurants and he said "well, it isn't American cheese". I usually order rellenos when I eat out for Mexican food so I know better. Instead of trying to correct their mistake, the manager was dismissive and arrogant. Our waitress never returned to check on us again either. In fact she walked by within a few feet and I tried to get her attention but she deliberately kept walking. When I said excuse me to her (I know she heard me) another waiter from 3 tables over heard me and smiled and shook his head and came over to help me, even he noticed. Hopkinsville has less and less to offer. Seems like people there could care less about quality and customer service. And, for the record, I do not usually go to this measure to complain, in fact I have never gone online to do so but I was rather disappointed. Good luck if...
Read moreServer was not checking to see if we needed anything on top of it all we ended the meal to pay our check and I told him solo me and 2 other friends and he put all 3 checks together And even added a drink from the other ticket of group of people to our ticket and I was not done eating but had 3 people leaving so I went to go figure the ticket situation out before they left and they had already cleaned our table up before I was even done. Food was not even all that great for the chicken enchiladas. I even asked for montadas on top of my eggs and he didn't even what that was and even said in English still didn't know. Won't recommend this place to anyone. He didn't even ask If we wanted desert or checks I had to ask for desert and my check. Or ask if we needed anything he seemed like he only understood Spanish and so I even spoke Spanish and didn't know still. When I brought the check issue to him he told me to tell the...
Read moreI like El Bracero and the food is about a 7 out of 10. Sometimes their portions are small for the price or if you order something that includes meat and vegetables like the fajitas, at times you can be overloaded with peppers and onions and little meat. The cheese sauce is just ok to me, I have had better. The salsa is great to me and I prefer it to other Mexican restaurants in town. The service is lacking in a major way. Your server does not engage with you at all. Maybe it's because of the language barrier but it's really just, take your order, bring your food, fill your drink. No engagement about how the food tastes, would you like desert or Margaritas, no conversation at all. Not friendly or personable is what I guess I'm trying to say. Don't get me wrong, some people love that kind of service or lack there of, but it leaves me conflicted when it comes time...
