Food was like any other LJS. The problem was the unprofessionalism. The gentleman that took our order acted like anyone that came in was the biggest inconvenience to his life. I tried to order and he very quietly mumbled words back and I politly informed him that I couldnt understand what he said and he proceeded to roll his eyes and do nothing to adjust his voice to maybe get is voice across. I physically looked at my wife and we both could not hear what he was saying. I then tried to ask about something on the menu and he sighed as I was asking for him to do to much. Then proceeded to accidentally drop all the cups on the floor but when picking them up he didnt even look at them which there floors were not clean and as I walked away I noticed some dirt on the cups that just fell. Just to walk around the corner to find not one table that was clean for my family to sit at. I understand working fast food is not what most people want to do as an occupation but that doesnt mean you have to treat every customer with disrespect...
Read moreThis place seems underrated. Seriously the food was cooked almost perfectly. It came out pretty quick too. The eating area was comfortable. But what shined above not just all fast food restaurants, but all restaurants in my life, was the customer service and genuine friendship that Keyia gave to my 7 year old daughter who she and I just had to split up from my other daughter and their mom for the weekend so we both were pretty sad but Keyia was what made my daughter smile. I am so thankful for this happy memory with my daughter. Ty Keyia! Long John Silvers, I'm now speaking as a business owner. It would be very wise and an extremely good investment for yall to invest more in whatever way needed to have Keyia train all long john silver restaurants how to give the best customer service and give the cuisines memories that make the customers want to come back for more. You never know what others are going through so it's important to treat ppl with that in mind and I can see clearly Keyia knows...
Read moreI've been eating at this Long John's for years. We don't have any LJ's in middle TN anymore and I don't care for Cpt. D's. So I regularly plan a shopping trip and drive the hour to Hopkinsville to eat lunch here. It's an older location so I won't complain about the building being a bit dated. The staff has always been friendly and I always look forward to the fish and chips. I've never had a bad meal at this location - - until recently. First of all, let me be clear: IT IS NOT fish and chips if the fries are waffle fries !! Not that it would have made any difference but they were cooked to the point of resembling kettle chips. As if that wasn't a big enough disappointment, the fish batter was hard as a rock and if you broke through it, the fish was extremely greasy. One bite was more than enough for me to get up, discard the food, take my drink and grab a sandwich next door at Rally's. Super...
