Waffle House — Restaurant in Hopkinsville

As always the food is amazing. Got my favorite T-bone steak with 2 scramble eggs and hashbrowns with ham. Had not been in so long I did get a waffle with pecans which is always so awesome!! Food was great and service was ok..

I have to say 1 bad thing. A person that is working should not be taking bites of food and then going to take customer's orders!! I have never seen this before anywhere but I must say it was unpleasant, unprofessional and very rude. I'm sure you get a lunch break like everyone else in this country.

I really wanted to say something but my coworker I went with said it bothered him too but was afraid if I said something it would cause a huge argument. Just know this went on the entire time we were there eating and you could see the looks on customer's faces after she had taken their order time after time with food in her mouth chewing and talked to them. Pretty gross 😬 PLEASE ADDRESS THIS ISSUE.

Honestly made us both so sick to our stomach watching this and being spoken to by her MY 22.00 MEAL didn't even eat it all which I am pretty upset about because we both were excited to get to come in and eat. Something we only get to do 2 or 3...

I went to waffle House the other day and nevermind that there was a shooting at the nasty motel behind it. The waitresses were toxic. An older lady skipped over a black couple and took someone else's order. She came by again to tell the couple next to me that she hadn't forgotten them but we clearly saw that she did. I looked at the guy and he said, "man she's slow". She overheard our conversation and instead of going about her business or taking care of his order. She said excuse me and eventually told him to sit at another table so someone else could take his order. So the couple complied. Then another coworker started to take their order finally and continued the whole ordeal by chewing the guy out and even running the couple out of the door by screaming and cussing at them. It was absolutely unprofessional and ridiculous. I know it's a waffle House. But that exchange made everyone trying to eat...

Worst food I have ever had from waffle House. Not only did my steak not taste like steak but it was over cooked and over peppered to the point that my dog wouldn't even eat it. My egg whites were slimy and hash browns over cooked. My husband's salad had sandwich cheese on top of it his steak also tasted of pork steak instead of beef and everything over cooked as well. My son had a over cooked sandwich. We are big WH people and understand that people are only human but had the cook not been in such a hurry to go sit out in a car (right outside the door I might add) with a girl we might have tried them again. The waitress was not very good either seeing that she didn't notice that the food was burnt when she brought it to us, nor that after 2 mins my plate only had a couple bites off of it and I went to the car. She didn't not come me back to the table to check on my family. Just all out...
