I Drove through and ordered 2 regular cheeseburgers and 2 double quarter cheese burgers add Mayo and extra onions. The order taker (whom the manager identified as Julie) Seamed confused with the request for extra onions and said, The Double already comes with onions. I responded Yes, hence the Extra part of the request. I then received my order in a reasonably timely manner. After having driven home, (About 15 miles) My wife was pleased with her regular cheeseburgers, However, the double quarters did not have extra onions, but extra pickles. (So many pickles that the burger was wet and soggy. It appeared as though in addition to putting extra pickles on the doubles they poured pickle brine over the meat as well. The serving box and bag were wet through, and the bag was failing. I then drove back to the store and walked into the lobby taking the two double courters back with me and asked to speak with the manager (He identified himself as Richard) I told him, I think I have a training opportunity for you, and showed him the grill slip stating extra onions, and the burgers with 20 pickle slices each. The manager then took the burger back to the kitchen, showed it to the cook, and asked them to remake the food. Additionally, I asked the manager if he could be kind enough to toss in an order of fries with the sandwiches for me to munch on on my way back home. (he did so) A reasonably time later the manager returned to me with 2 new DBL quarters and made the statement I watched them make it so I know it’s right. I then went to my car and checked the double quarters. Again, the grill slip clearly stated DBL Qtr Cheese add Mayonnaise Xtra Sliver Onion. Upon opening and inspecting the burger, there were 4 slivers on one and 5 slivers on the 2nd burger. I Then returned to the store, and just asked for a refund. (Additionally, I would like to point out that the staff seemed to think that it was funny, and that while making the re-order they were joking about making the order) Ticket number of the original order was 1579. My experience with this left me feeling as though the staff took my complaint as a joke and that any attempts by the staff to correct the issue were merely lip service and while it may not have been the intent, the "extra onions" presented on the remake of the food felt like a combination insult and passive aggressive "F-U" to me as the customer. I am in no way satisfied with the product, service, or resolutions offered by the staff. Nor do I ever want food from this location again because I fear what other "extras" they may want to place in my food.
Update: It is acknowledged that I was contacted by a customer service representative regarding this event. I have been informed that they will attempt to correct my concerns with this store through training and counseling. When I get around to placing an order at this restaurant again, I will provide...
Read moreWatch out for this extremely rude shift manager at Hoquiam McDonald's. Her name is Margarita. We went through the drive thru to order and I gave them the code to earn points and we were using a different payment method. So McDonald's goes ahead and charges the card on file in the app. When we get to the window I go to hand the guy the card for the payment and he said it's already paid. I was like we didn't pay yet. He said they charged the card that was on file on the app. I said we aren't paying with that card and asked for a refund on that card. He went and brought back the 'So called' manager margarita and I explained to her what happened and politely asked for the card to be refunded. She begun to get an attitude and went on telling me it's not their fault and they have no control over the app charging cards. She said she couldn't give me a refund. I again asked for a refund she got mad and refunded the card eventually. I than tried to hand her the card we wanted to pay for the order with she then demanded we go inside and order because we were holding up her drive thru line. I said we shouldn't have to come in we were trying to pay and she said if we didn't leave the drive thru she was calling the police. I pulled up to the second window to try and ask if there was another manager on shift we could talk too. Here comes that Margarita to that window telling us to get out of the drive thru or again she was calling the police on us. I had 2 witnesses in my car. She was absolutely disgustingly rude. I informed her that I would be speaking with the actual restaurant manager and she laughed and said go ahead it's my last day. This lady has very bad customer service. So becareful if you encounter her at the Hoquiam McDonald's.
Update: Called today 7/18/2022 to speak with the restaurant manager Angie about this incident she didn't seem like she even cared. She said I know my employee called me after this happened. She didnt even act like she cared what I was saying. This McDonald's is screwy try...
Read moreOn May 18th at around 6 p.m. I went to the Hoquiam Washington McDonald's to order dinner for my children who were over at the YMCA attending a swimming lesson. I refused my order several times to the person behind the counter she obviously did not get to order correctly. The freeze drink I ordered was only three quarters of the way full and I had asked for tomato on one of my sandwiches several times I also receive called french fries when I asked for one prize the manager came back out and took my fries away with an attitude when I asked for my sandwich to be fixed to have tomato put on it she asked if I had paid it for it I didn't realize at the time that I did because it was not on the slip on top of the sandwich was taped to it. The manager came back out with a box with two small pieces of tomato the end of the Tomato I might add and gave it to me with an attitude. I was completely shocked by how I was treated by this woman. She was manager. I was so upset that I grabbed my food in my belongings walk towards the door and proceeded to take the box with a tomato in it and throw it behind the counter at the manager. I went outside and proceeded to cuss in Spanish call the woman a disgusting Spanish name instead of doing it inside the restaurant. After going online and reading several reviews about this woman I am shocked that she still a manager at this location they can 20-plus dollars an hour I believe her name is Margarita I advise everyone to no longer go to this McDonald's this woman needs to be fired ASAP and I will let everybody in my smoothie know how she treated me and what she did to me last Thursday night do not go to this McDonald's in...
