Subway — Restaurant in Hoquiam

Mindy (who wasn't wearing a name tag) was quick, but only because she's pushy and loud. She was bothered by my every response if her question wasn't answered before she asked it. She wasn't only pushy with me, but with the sweet and slow Sylvia (the other employee there). We had several sandwiches to order, and after screaming "next!" at me, I started to order. I told her the bread, meat, cheese and that I wanted it toasted and started to order the next sandwich (I caught on to the pushiness from the customer in front of me) and she stopped me, asked me how many sanwiches I was going to order. When I told her, her response was, "What"?! When I told her a second time she repeated what I said and to my surprise she got even more pushy. She huffed, and then I had to repeat what I said for the first sandwich.

After the second sandwich and her clear frustration with Sylvia, she huffed over to the register, punched the sandwiches into the computer and came back. She must have forgotten in all her rage of superiority, to change gloves, and continued to open the bread and touch the ingredients with her now dirty cash register gloves.

Also, instead of helping the other girl to get us done, she screamed "NEXT!" at the guy behind us and even interrupted him to scream "HELLO!" at the people coming in the door. It was at the top of her lungs and was so loud that she literally made me jump it startled me so much.

Servers seemed poorly trained, and the toaster oven was turned up to high. Dropped my drink as I was going to sit down. Asked the lady at the counter for a rag to clean it up and she turns around and gets me 2 paper towels. I said "I'm gunna need something more than that", and her coworker says to get me a cloth one. She pulls out I a tiny washcloth sized thin cloth towel (like one used for sanitizing counters). I just kinda chuckled. Clean the seat and table off as best I could and placed a wet floor sign where the rest of my drink was. My bread was burnt not toasted, as my cheese was burnt as well. Also tried the Miss Vickies kettle chips, nothing against subway for trying something new but they weren't very good. Should have just gotten the chips I normally get. Came into subway on 10/2/2025, we had called in the order due to having kids in the car, well when we got their the gentlemen behind the counter was the only one working, as he tried to take care of the orders as they were coming in a old timer in a Jean jacket started yelling at the poor dude, telling him a was going to report him to his boss and caused a scene in the store.

Now I work with the public and one thing that is true for all places is that first come first serve, regardless if it's a walk in or a call in.
