Solid Coffee — Restaurant in Hoquiam

I'm stoked that this great coffee shop is part of our community, and convenient to Aberdeen as well as Hoquiam.

The blended coffee drinks are made just right; the flavors never overwhelm the coffee itself nor are they overly sweetened. I had a Rose Mocha recently, and the whipped cream was topped with a few rose petal flakes...yum! I'm also a fan of their Orange Blossom Mocha.

The pastries are freshly made by the owners, making this a must-visit stop even if you aren't a coffee drinker! Solid Coffee is a friendly place to hang out, and highly recommended.

This place is cute, and it's exciting that there is a new close-by coffee shop. They have a small selection of baked goods in the case, and also offer breakfast sandwiches and oatmeal. They don't have their hours posted yet - but they were still closed at 7:30 on a Saturday, and were open when we came back through around 11. There are a handful of tables for seating and there is plenty of parking. They use Blossom coffee from Vashon - that being said it's rough. It might just be the blend but we weren't able to drink it and ended up dumping it out. We went here for the first time on my birthday and what a gift! This place is the real deal. Beautifully crafted coffee drinks with unexpected combinations that truly spark joy. Orange Blossom Mocha is freaking delightful. Mexican Mocha and cardamom latte are deliciously warming. The Honey and Bee pollen latte tastes like a warm hug. My husband and I recently moved into the area and were looking for "our" coffee spot in town. We found it. Also that coffee cake is so good. It never even makes it home.
