We went for dinner tonight, taking into consideration that we were coming 30 mins before close, but still just ordered a Togo order. We decided to get the hibachi steak and shrimp and sushi, while the sushi was really good, the hibachi steak shrimp and rice were extremely below par. The shrimp was over cooked, tough, and fishy tasting. Then I call the store and the owner picks up the phone and is extremely rude and not understanding at all, and proceeded to accuse me of falsely complaining about the food. Also, he tells me that no one complains about his food and he feels that since it was my first time placing an order that I was lying. Also, he says that he overcooks the shrimp on purpose due to complaints of it being raw in the past ? No sense was made here what so ever and my experience was just agitating. The bill was also a little over $30, and I don’t know about you but with that price my food should be hot and satisfactory!!! I have my receipt, I purchased 1 streak and shrimp which was $26.95 and the California roll with was around $6.

Avocado bomb- YES! Ramen noodle special-NO! The sushi is good but the environment is so lacking it’s sad. It’s a very cold restaurant with minimal decor and faint music if any. It feels like an old breakfast diner that serves sushi. Good sushi but with other options in town that offer the same but with a dining experience worth going back for, this is the lowest in town in my opinion. Also, the ramen special is not worth getting. It has too many things in it that destroy the broths depth. It tastes too much like seaweed and old creamed corn. The broth is creamy which was not expected. It could have been an off day but get the avocado bomb! It is like a deconstructed sushi roll in an avocado and get two because you won’t wanna share. 2 stars for zero atmosphere.

AI Sushi in Hot Springs, AR, is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the warm and friendly staff make you feel right at home. The menu offers a variety of creative and delicious options, but the Southern Philly Roll and the Hot Springs Roll truly stole the show. The Southern Philly Roll is a delightful twist on a classic, perfectly balancing creamy and savory flavors. Meanwhile, the Hot Springs Roll packs a punch of fresh ingredients and a bit of spice, making it a must-try for sushi lovers. The presentation is top-notch, and you can tell the chefs take pride in their craft. Whether you're a local or just visiting, AI Sushi is a dining experience you don't want to miss. Highly recommend!

We've eaten here multiple times in the past three years. There has been a steady decline in food quality and now the service . When we first started eating at AI it was very good, the sushi was fresh, and the food was always cooked well. The service was very good at the beginning, and stayed that way until last night. We are here last night with some friends from out of town, and had a poor experience. We didn't get our sushi rolls until after we had already finished eating our entree, the hibachi was all overcooked except my hibachi scallops which were very undercooked. The service wasn't good, our table wasn't attended to very well, no refills offered on drinks, and other than bringing our food we never saw our server, the place was not very busy. To top things off , we had six people , two separate checks, and we were both charged an 18% gratuity added to our check. I understand that many restaurants do this with very large parties, but 6 isn't a very large party, AND it isn't posted anywhere that there is any sort of mandatory gratuity! The service we received DEFINITELY was NOT deserving of a total of about $40 in gratuity between the two checks. I...

the food is excellent, but I felt absolutely ignored and put on the back burner as a guest tonight. I am extremely patient and work in food industry as a server/bartender, so for me to even be making a comment says a lot. we genuinely waited on an appetizer for 35 minutes and in that time never got checked on. we in total spent 1 hour and 45 minutes there, and even with them being busy, we should have atleast been visited with more than we were. we tip wonderfully, and we used to come eagerly but I can say if there seems to be a wait, I'd just leave. somehow we got there before the true rush and still waited longer than anyone in there. (I know this seems far fetched but tables that came in about 20 minutes after us were done while we were still waiting for boxes) I even heard her giving a table literally 3 feet away from us a time frame for when their food would be out, and we didn't even get that. managers, if you care at all, you need to hire atleast one more server. I will not be returning, but the way I was treated tonight I am sure...
