The place is alright with a good vista view of the riverfront, plenty of nice seating and it's kept clean , the beer is cold and reasonably priced. I'd say if any improvement can be made here it's a few of the employees.. There are some hillbillies working here with one wild looking man at the front door who has wild eyes and long white hair ( I think he is the hostess.) another guy working behind the bar wearing an old dirty T-shirt who hasn't shaved in a few days and then a snooty young girl who is nice enough. Then we have some privileged Employee who is parking their Gray Chevy Silverado right in everyone's way next to the stone wall -by the front entrance. Because it's in the way I have seen many vehicles drive in here that need to stop - back up - and then drive forward again to turn around the sharp corner so they can park in the lower lot. The lower lot is right where the gray Chevy Silverado needs to be. In fact the other employees park down there, so why is the gray Chevy Silverado so entitled to park right by the front door..In Everyone's way?
Update: I'm very sorry to hear about your handicap employee, I noticed there are a few handicap parking spaces by the front entrance facing the riverfront that the silverado can park in.. (as long as they have all the credentials to park there) it shouldn't be a problem. Also the truck could be moved forward seeing how there is about 15ft of empty space in front of the truck. Wouldn't that be better than parking in everyone's way? I reckon the food could be 5* Star, although I never tried it.. I understand it's hard to find people who want to work, good luck with that.. in the meantime the other bartender should shave and put on a clean shirt before coming to work. Employees should be provided with Banba Brews Shirts to be worn while working here if you would like to look more professional and have a teamwork atmosphere here. And it wouldn't cost the owner much to make a few simple upgrades like buying a few clean Buba T-Shirts. If they look good I might even buy one for myself. Still, it's a nice well kept place with a good view of the river. Good Luck with...
Read moreWe are visiting the Hot Springs area, and have gone to Bubba’s twice. The food is good and so are the house made chips, but not really anything special, at least what I had (Ruben & Bologna Burgar). However, the service is not so great. Both times I felt our server was scarce; today was worse than the 1st time.
Our server was fairly prompt in getting our drink orders (2 waters, 2 beers); however, she came back to the table a few minutes later empty handed, she could’ve brought the waters, to clarify what 1 of the beer orders was. A few more minutes she comes with the beer but still no water, and trotted off before I could tell her we were ready to order. About 10 minutes later I finally flag her down to ask for our water, order another beer, and tell her we’re ready to order food. I ordered their MVBLT, a BLT with a fried egg and other specialty extras. I asked if I could get it w/o the egg and was told yes, so I ordered one without the egg. When it came it had an egg on it, so I asked for one w/o egg again and sent it back. Five or so minutes later I get a new BLT, only this time it has 2 eggs. I sent that one back, told the server to just cancel the order, and ending up eating 1/2 of my wife’s Bologna Burger; it was good BTW. The manager, I guess, comes out and asks what my issue is, so I explain the whole situation to her. She says well she’s new, and just didn’t understand what you wanted; seriously!?, how do you go from no egg to 2 eggs when staying the exact same thing twice!!!??? Lastly, our server finally brings the ticket, it was accurate, and leaves it for me to complete and sign WITH NO PEN! 🤷🏼🤷🏼🤷🏼🙆🙆🙆🤦🤦🤦
The only plus is the view of the lake…
Needless to say, we will not be returning, nor will we...
Read morewe came to hot springs for the weekend, and before we came we were looking for places to eat.. this is one of the places that popped up that we had never been too. the website made their food look AMAZING, we were so excited to try it out esp bc it was right off of the lake. so we came here for dinner for the first night, and i honestly would’ve rather eaten at mcdonald’s. i got the patty melt bc on the website it looked amazing, it was packed with undercooked onions and mushrooms (i normally love onions and mushrooms but when they are under cooked and that’s all you can taste, no thanks) the bread was a soggy mess like it was sitting for awhile and it just wasn’t great. i will say i ordered the onion rings with it, and they were the best thing i ate there. my husband got Dale Earnhart, he said it was mediocre at best and the gravy wasn’t great at all. we got the pretzel and beer cheese which were both not great. the beer cheese tasted like velveta that they maybe spritz some beer into. it wasn’t great. the drink we got tasted like fruit punch HC with vodka in it, it was okay but would i order again? probably not. i will say our server Taylor was very nice and helpful, and an excellent server. our meal costed $70 after tip, and it was truly just overpriced frozen food. nothing special to it. if you want to eat somewhere amazing, head to central and go to superior bathhouse brewery where they know how to make pretzels and beer cheese, and...
