Gentle Belly Cook Shop — Restaurant in Hot Springs

Besides the worker smokeing in the back of the restaurant. The food was pretty good except the rice that was a little crunchy. When I got too the restaurant I expect it to be clean and look like a healthy environment. When I got there, there was an individual who was smoking in the back with a lit cigarette. This is very offputting to the customer and very unhygienic. The chicken wings and the mac & cheese are five star. It could not be any better. The shrimp tasted they just got caught, the seasoning was amazing. I am leaving a two star review, for the active smoking in the back. It is very off putting, and takes away from how good the food actually is.

Gentle Belly Cook Shop is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the warm, cozy atmosphere and incredibly kind staff. Delicious!! Definitely worth every penny. We got the turkey neck sandwiches with mac and cheese and salmon and shrimp fish cake heart shaped waffles and Mac and cheese . $40. Best meal of my year so far. Super friendly and accommodating staff. I'm eager to try multiple other things listed on the menu. Love the wave roof too, it definitely sets this place apart visually and makes it easy to find. Sorry we didn't take any pictures it just looked so scrumptious we had to dig in! Thank you so much for making our night. We came from across town and it was definitely worth the trip! Turkey was yummy and excellent. We want to come back...
