Customer service is not good, was told it was going to be a 30 minute wait and that they would have to split my party. So we said ok, and waited 45 minutes and then I went to check and the hostess acted annoyed, after an hour we finally got a split table. Even though we didn’t get to sit together, I said that I was going to pay and would get the ticket. I was holding my 1 and a half year old who was a little wild after the long wait. The reason I took my family and friends here was I’d eaten there a few years back and it was the best French toast I’ve ever had, well I’m not sure what changed but now it’s ok but not like it was, the eggs Benedict was still really good and everyone enjoyed their breakfast but we weren’t offered refills until we were all done and about to leave. I asked for the ticket because by now my baby was ready to go, it had taken close to 2 hours. We tipped really well in cash and left. I later was looking at the receipt and noticed that they added a 20% gratuity after tax, which actually makes it over 23%. Plus there was an alcohol tax for some reason when we didn’t order any alcoholic drinks. We ate on Sunday and left town. I called multiple times on Monday to finally get ahold of a manager to see about getting cash back on my credit card for the gratuity since we generously tipped in cash. After telling the manager Sam the situation, she told me it was posted on the menu and that I was out of luck and laughed at me. All in all the tip was over a hundred dollars for really lousy customer service and food that wasn’t as good as it used to be. We won’t be back and wanted to warn others so that you don’t have the same problems, because the management isn’t going to be much help. One last thing, half the prices on my receipt are more expensive than the prices on their...

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I recently visited Best Cafe & Bar, and it left quite an impression! From the moment I stepped in, I noticed the immaculately clean bathrooms—a rare find in many cafes. It’s always a relief to have a pleasant restroom experience, especially when enjoying a meal.
Now, let’s talk about the food. The Fried Chicken Benny was an absolute delight. The crispy chicken paired with perfectly poached eggs and a luscious hollandaise sauce made for a memorable brunch. And if you’re a fan of bold flavors, the spicy and flavorful sausage won’t disappoint—it adds a zesty kick to the dish.
But wait, there’s more! The eggs (yes, even the regular ones) were cooked to perfection. Whether scrambled, sunny-side-up, or poached, they were consistently delicious. And the pancakes—oh, those fluffy stacks—were firm yet tender, making each bite a pleasure.
Now, let’s talk about dessert. Brace yourself for the French Toast Creme Brulee. It’s like a heavenly fusion of two beloved classics. The crispy caramelized top gives way to a custardy center, and the flavor combination is nothing short of divine. Trust me, it’s worth every calorie.
Lastly, a shout-out to our server, Ashley. Her attentive and friendly service elevated the entire dining experience. She made sure we felt welcome and well taken care of throughout our visit.
In summary, Best Cafe & Bar deserves a solid five stars. Clean facilities, delectable food, and exceptional service—it’s the trifecta of a memorable cafe. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, make sure to stop by and indulge in their...
Read moreMy partner and I were in town for a funeral, and decided to grab breakfast before we moved forward with the day. We ordered a flight of mimosas, to which when our waitress told the bartender he loudly says “who’s getting a flight of mimosas? It’s 8 am.” I don’t know in what world anyone thinks it’s acceptable to judge someone based on what they order from a restaurant who has these available TO order. If you have such a hard time accepting two people ordered 4 SMALL MIMOSAS TO SHARE maybe they should work at a dive bar. I ordered the Gouda grits, which were around 10$, and they were very delicious! My partner order the pork belly confit, which when it came to the table was 1/4th the amount of grits I received, a small piece of pork belly, 2 poached eggs and the leaves of Brussel sprouts. If you’re going to charge 20$ for a plate of food, the person ordering shouldn’t still be hungry afterwards. After our 2 plates of food and flight of mimosas, our bill came out to 70$ not including tip. If I can make a recommendation, maybe stop letting the servers loudly play on their phones and gossiping behind the bar, it’s too small of an establishment to behave like that. And stop overcharging for breakfast food, we all know how much all of the else things really cost. This should’ve been a 45-50$ meal including the drinks. On a positive note the food was delicious! And so were the drinks! But food sure tastes better without someone trash talking you in...
