It must of been a very bad day for the drive through cashier and the manager. I ordered and clearly said, TWICE, I wanted orange juliuses with my both of my orders. When we got to the window, we were given two orange sodas. It took about 5 minutes before we got our food. The cashier had a mild attitude when we asked her to swap out the orange sodas for the juliuses I asked for initially. Stating we'd be happy to pay for them. Cashier walks away and gets her manager. Manager comes up, starts looking at her register, says nothing to us, and proceeds to shake her head and roll her eyes, giving off the impression we were inconveniencing her and her employee. The cashier did make a decent gesture to not charge us, but her crappy attitude remained. So then we decide to check out the rest of our food. One sandwich was correct, but the other that was ordered, according to the driver thru sign, did not match. We told the cashier it wasn't what we ordered in a friendly manner to try and ease the blow. Immediately her attitude changed to even more crappier. She took the sandwich for a minute, looked at her register, and gave it back. In a condescending tone, full of false pleasantries the cashier stated that it was correct. We said ok because we had enough of the place. So we got online after we left and verified the menu for that store, which did in fact match the drive thru menu display. And to make matters worse, it was clear her EXTREMELY condescending "Have a pleasant day" was enough to spark this review. I'm just gonna chop it up to the restaurant was...
Read more👍Havent been here in years from not living nearby but got to have lunch and was totally 😱amazed by the service the young man running the counter was providing! I am so often disappointed😡 with the ethics allowed to be acceptable from literally everywhere i go anymore so to find a place that is going above and beyond💯 todays standard of customer service is next to none. The young man was demonstrating the most impressive manners i have seen in some time. Never a 🤬grumble, 😤huff, nor 🙄dismissal of having to take orders, run food, and maintain a quick pace to keep the line from backing up. Im not sure if its required for them to run your food to the table when its ready but have always had to go pick ours up from the counter before this visit. I really ❤️enjoyed that extra detail of surprise. It made me feel like i was special & 🤗appreciated. Plus the speed at which our order arrived at the table was super⏱️ fast. We were provided with plenty of 🧻napkins, ketchup, 🧂salt & pepper without even having to ask for it. Amazing! Food was picture📸 perfect & i loved the little box the fries🍟 came in, sorry no photos, guess you'll have to go for your own visit and awesome service. I was so impresed i literally gave a few 💵dollars tip directly to the man that was working so hard & expressed my gratitude & how impressed i was bc i am not easily impressed with the services i receive anywhere else. 📣DQ...
Read moreI've only frequented this restaurant a couple of times. Today about 330pm for dessert after late lunch. Went from mediocre to worse. Ordered 2 large malts - what was received after a long wait were cups of a watery substance. I turned them down and they were remade. As we got them to-go, we drank them in the car. Though not as runny as the first effort, there was very little chocolate/strawberry taste and were not mixed. We asked for the whipped topping and received the tiniest squirt of topping I'd ever seen. Certainly not like their advertisement photos on their walls! A woman with children ordered after us and received her order before us. The staff seemed friendly but unknowledgeable and kept making excuses about the ice cream machine? As a former food service manager, I also noticed the sanitation in the facility appeard lacking. The floors were slippery like a film of grease was on it. Not only unsanitary, but dangerous especially for elderly and/or handicapped. Not sure what to think of the 5 star reviews by "Local Guides?" This Dairy Queen location is historic as one of the first (if not THE first) Dairy Queens. What a shame it's been reduced to such a low level of substandard service and product quality. May go back to see if anyone takes this wake-up-call to heart and ups their standard to reinvigorate this landmark restaurant. Shameful...
