I ordered egg fried rice on Uber Eats.

Firstly, the Correct Way: Stir fry dishes are supposed to be done in a wok at high heat with high temperature oil, enough oil to coat the pan but not too much oil. The vegetables and rice are moved quickly during cooking to prevent them from burning. The fast cooking at high temp sears the food and prevents too much oil being absorbed into the rice, vegetables, chicken, etc. There are videos on how professional chefs make stir fry rice. It's not hard. 😑

What I Got: An overfilled container with rice, vegetables, and egg bits that tasted like they'd been simmered in a vat of oil at medium heat for too long. The soggy food had absorbed so much oil it was nauseating to eat. 🤢

Terrible experience. I wouldn't order any fried dishes here until they make some serious improvements and retrain...

This place deserves a 0 star or less. Nobody should dine in there. No server, no person at the counter to attend customers. You get very little in food quantities when they combine orders in single trays to serve at the table, which they surely will do. One lady works at the nearby BD grocery store who hurriedly comes to serve, gets payments, and goes back to the grocery store. Food quality is not that good. I won’t recommend this place to anyone. I was visiting Houston and the restaurant was close to my hotel so I picked up dinner from there. I tried sorisha Elish. It had a delicious and authentic Bengali taste. I also had sish kabab and garlic naan. The naan was phenomenal but the kabab was tasty. The kabab, however, was more of an Arabic style with minced beef rather than Bengali style but it was delicious. I also bought some groceries from the adjacent store.
