The bacon egg and cheese on a croissant was pretty good…BUT the coffee was terrible. Asked the lady who possibly was the manager, that my coffee was watered down and if they had dark roasted coffee, she wasn’t even sure. If I’m paying $2 for a coffee, the least that she could’ve done was to listen to my concern and correct it. I’m a coffee connoisseur and know when I’m drinking GOOD coffee and it just wasn’t it, felt like I wasted my money and literally threw my coffee away. They have to do better at cleaning the tables as well the 1st 2 tables had crumbs as I was going to have my food in there but the tables were not wiped down. Read moreThis is my favorite donut shop, and it pains me to write this review. I called to see if they were open because the city was recovering from the hurricane. They were. I drove there and was waiting to place my order. The lady in front and I were the only people there at the time. Two other people walked in as the lady was paying. I was next in line, but they chose to help the two people who came in after me 1st. It was like I was invisible. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me there. Read moreUsed to be very fond of this place the past two years until I needed to back off of the donuts & excessive carbs. But I figured that I was in the area and up, so I went for an early croissant w/egg & bacon and two old fashioned donuts.
I was surprised to find that none of them seemed fresh. My antennas were up when I noticed that the shelves of donuts and sandwiches were not full at the opening. But I progressed anyway.
Well, the donuts tasted like grease, and the breakfast sandwich was lucky to have only two tiny pieces of bacon on it.
