Worst experience at a brewery ever. I've been to breweries all over this planet and this one is by far the worst organized.
Drove in from Austin. Got in line at noon. Waited a long time to gain entry. Stood in the sun for over an hour. Got sunburnt real bad. Somehow I was short a beer ticket and assumed I lost it myself?
Anyways, we were on time for everything, yet all the cool merchandise was already sold out. No stickers, no four packs, no shirts in my sizes. I don't know how it was "sold out" because we were in line since the beginning of time.
Half the beers were already gone, and it wasn't even 1:30 yet. They were super nice to refund my money but I can't get over how disorganized everything was.
I waited in line (one hour) for anniversary merchandise that wasn't even available at the anniversary party during the first 30 minutes?
The beer was decent but you can find these beers all over Houston. This was a super disappointing party from an underwhelming brewery. I will never waste my time again....
Read moreI've adored Brash beer since my first taste of their Vulgar Display of Power Stout many years ago, but last night was my first visit to the brewery. I went for the Oddities Market put on by Obscure Houston. My mind was blown! The astounding, beautiful, distinct, deliriously odd marvels to be seen overwhelmed me, and the set up was beyond perfection. I'm told they'll be hosting more Oddities Markets soon, so check the web sites if you're interested. Even if you don't plan to buy, you should absolutely go just to look (and have a beer or two). I picked up a couple of 4 packs of Imperial Stouts to take...
Read moreBrash is nestled in a warehouse behind some townhomes off Crosstimbers. They have parking for 40ish cars and a ton of seating and standing. The warehouse creates an indoor/outdoor concept with picnic tables to sit and barrels to stand at. They are dog-friendly with concrete floors and water bowls. If you like vintage arcade games, they have a wall lined with them! We had a delicious saison and some tacos from the food truck parked outside. We were also able to take beer to-go in large cans they cap off right there for you. Definitely a laid-back vibe and easy going atmosphere. We...
