First of all, I normally don't do this. I love Chick-fil-A and eat there are all the time. My issues are with this location specifically, accrued over multiple visits.
Today I went through the drive through and ordered two meals, one of which was my normal order, a grilled chicken club with colby jack cheese, and both meals with a frozen lemonade. I also specified the types of sauces I wanted and the counts. I tried to communicate effectively as I know the job is stressful and it's hot out today.
When given my order, I was handed the drinks, both of which were incorrect. I pointed this out to the employee who said, "Oh, they must have heard you wrong." I didn't want to hold up the already backed up line so I parked, went in, explained and traded the drinks out for the correct ones.
After arriving home, I opened the bag only to learn I was given an entirely different sandwhich and different sauces than I ordered. So in total, out of two meals with sauces, both meals drinks were incorrect, the sauces were in correct, and one meal was wrong. So that's, what? Like 60% of my order?
I get this job can suck, I get people are underpaid. This is the third time at this location my drink has been incorrect. Almost every time my sauces are either wrong or missing entirely. I normally check before leaving, but after the drink debacle I messed up and didn't double check this time, that's on me. But honestly, should that really be a requirement?
As for pros: staff are generally very nice and, when my food is correct, it is great as per the chain's...
Read moreTIPS: 1. Always order from the app. You can make sure you get exactly what you want (because you are choosing) and you get points toward free food. If you don't have the app when you're there, you can still scan the receipt and add it to your account. Don't let reward points go to waste! If you can leave your car (i.e. don't have kids and don't have to do drive thru), get on the app, order carry out and run in and grab it. Always quicker than drive thru. I also always say I am "there" about a minute before I get there (if you're using the u-turn under the highway, that's when I hit it). That way it can be ready for you right away and you can grab it and go or stay in there if you like. If you just want water (no soft drink, lemonade, etc.), don't order a meal. Order the entree, the side and then the water. When I worked at chick-fil-a, if someone asked for a meal, you hit a meal button and had to fill in the sides and the drink. If you say you want water after you ask for a meal, they have to delete the meal, then ring up the individual items and then the water because meals are more expensive than the entrees and side separately (they really care about not making you overpay!). It will save you and them time in the ordering process.
Review: I tend to go in the late afternoon or evening and always get great service! Austin and Courtney (the operators) are very kind people and if you ever have issues, you can always ask for them to make it right! Great location, great food and...
Read moreI went the Beltway 8/Hammerly location in Houston Tx today. I have ordered the 4pc nuggets med fry and leg shake for years. I recently started asking for my fries to be well done. If they're not well done, they are soft and inconsistent. Today I had an interaction where my entire above mentioned order wasn't an option. I couldn't sub the fries or drink on the kids meal and I couldn't get my fries well done. This was shocking because I literally got this same meal at this same location a few days ago. Although your employee stated she "couldn't believe that was true"... she wasn't "rude" in tone but very patronizing and as I drive off she hollered to another employee "She claims she got her meal well done here a few days ago".... I didn't get a name because I was really caught off guard by this simple order being an issue. I think I understand about the kids meal (I'm not sure how this is rung up because the price isn't consistent So each restaurant may have a"way" of ringing it up. The issue is the fact that she made me feel like I was crazy and lying. Like why lie tho?!?!? She was condescending and nice nasty - the way she yelled to her co-worker that "I claimed..Finally, why can't I request my fries to be fried a few seconds longer. What's the issue with this?!? Why remove this option?... This is literally the second time in the past 6 months I've had a bad experience at CFLA (a different location)..No one even attempted to reply to my first issue so hopefully I'll get done answers...
