Cowboy Trucking Inc — Local services in Houston

I recently had an extremely frustrating experience with Cowboy trucking & landscape supplies customer service. I called looking for a product and reached out for assistance, but the response I received was far from satisfactory.

Firstly, I spoke with a lady who didn’t not know her products or an idea of what they had at the time and then she put me on hold to get someone that may know! Then a male representative answer back with a very unreasonable attitude on his reply. After finally getting through to a representative, I found them to be unhelpful and dismissive and end up hanging up the phone on me. They seemed uninterested in resolving or helping me and very rude. This is not the level of service I expect from a company of this caliber.

Overall, my experience was disappointing, and I would not recommend [Cowboy Trucking and landscape supplies ] if you are looking for reliable customer service. I hope they take this feedback to heart and make significant improvements in their approach to customer care. I honestly never given anyone a bad review and this one...

We needed high quality top soil to recover 1500sqft that had been buried under rotten decking and concrete... Cowboy Trucking was the best bid--quality, budget, and delivery time--and was backed by multiple friends (some of whom are in the landscape industry). 10 cubic yards of enriched topsoil was delivered exactly when they said it would be.

Then we needed gravel. Once again, Cowboy had the best pricing, speed, and reviews. Had 2 tons of Blackstar gravel delivered on time by a very friendly fellow.

Finally, we needed 3 pallets of sod. I'm allergic to lots of grasses so we wanted to go with Zoysia despite being told it was finicky. Cowboy came out on top again. Two weeks in and the grass is looking great!

Went to go get stones 6 pallets plus edging plus rock for chimney build out. Got turned away with a bad attitude from manual when I asked for samples. He said I can have only 2-3 of the 6. After requesting several times and suggesting I’d pay for the samples Manuel proceeded to shake his head rudely and hushed the lady who was trying to help me.

Then he had a master plan of telling me to come tomorrow to pick them up since he didn’t have enough time to get the samples (over an hour left till close).

I left with a horrible taste in my mouth from the lack of respect and sheer rudeness of Manual.
