Iāve never been much of a coffee drinker, but Dutch Bros changed that for me. I remember one morning I had stayed up all night studying for an exam and decided to stop by for a drink on my way to school. Thatās when I met Cruz. He was incredibly kind and helped me choose a drink since I had no idea what to get. From that day on, it became a weekly routine. Cruz always had the best recommendations, and no matter how early it was, he treated everyone with genuine kindness and respect. One time when my order got messed up, he stayed and made sure it was fixed perfectly. He truly went above and beyond even when he didnāt have to. A few days ago, I met Ty, and he was just as amazing. My order was a bit confusing, and instead of rushing through it or leaving me waiting, he spent 10 minutes patiently helping me figure everything out. He didnāt have to, but he chose kindness, and that meant so much to me. Both Ty and Cruz are genuinely remarkable people who have truly left a mark on me. Iāve never been treated with so much warmth and care by complete strangers. I may not be a huge coffee lover, but I keep coming back because of the people. Dutch Bros isnāt just a coffee stop anymore, itās a little highlight in my week thanks to the incredible team...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy only experience with Dutch Bros has been the location on W. Lake Houston Parkway, which I patronize when I visit a friend. I was excited to have a location open near my job, and this year I planned to switch from the Starbucks to Dutch Bros for many reasons. Now I will probably just buy a Nespresso and make coffee drinks at work. The service is soooooooooooooooooooo sloopoooooooooooooooooow. I order as I leave my home, which is about an 8 minute drive from the shop. When I arrive, my drink is never ready. What is worse is that customers who order at the window receive their drink before my order is ready. I typically only order one drink, and even if I were to order two, there is no reason why customers who order after I have arrived at the store should receive their order first. Thursday the Barista told me that there was a large order in front of my order, but that didnāt explain why walk up customers received their drinks first. I am giving Dutch Bros one more chance today, hopefully I am not...

I'm not sure if the staff is not trained correctly, or perhaps they don't get along - but they don't seem to be efficient at all and there were over FIVE of them present. I was waiting for over 20 minutes to receive my order and I just decided to request a refund instead. Once I walked up they magically had one of my two drinks ready and said that my other drink they had made a mistake on and were in the process of redoing it.
There is a nearby Starbucks location that is 5 minutes away. They had THREE employees with orders ahead of mine and they got mine out in FOUR minutes. Literally four minutes - my order had modifications and it was still out quickly.
If Dutch Bros is going to survive in the world of Starbucks, they have to get...
