El Ultimo (Food Truck) — Restaurant in Houston

I've been running a food truck program at work and I was sooo excited to find this taco truck to come on site to our office. Spoke with them and let them know we'd need to make sure they had commercial food liability insurance as well as a Fort Bend County food service permit. They assured me it was all good so we scheduled and confirmed everything over 3 weeks in advance. On the day of I called them in the morning to make sure everything was on track (as other food trucks have gotten day permits on the day of without issue) and he seemed confused at first as to what I was talking about. Only then did he let me know that not only did he not have the commercial food liability insurance and was only considering getting it, he also had not gone through the effort of securing the permit because they required an inspection. Needless to say my mind was blown! I asked when he planned on letting me know all this since we were only a couple hours away from the time they were supposed to show up and it was just crickets. Can't speak on their food as I never got a chance to try it, but I would personally stay away from any food vendor that avoids inspections and runs their business so...

This place is 100% Authetic Delicious Mexican tacos with authetic flavors as you would hope for at a food truck. It's so good. This is my first time here and definitely pleased! I have been on a search for good tacos and have tried places on Google maps that had good ratings but failed in taste. Best tacos I’ve had in Houston hands down and they were HUGE! Especially for a $2 taco! Better than any restaurant and certainly not nasty Tex-Mex garbage. This was good authentic Mexican food. Highly recommend if you want a fresh, piping hot, made to order taco, with amazing salsa. I will be going back for sure! Also pro tip: Eat your tacos in the parking lot.
