Mi Bella Honduras — Restaurant in Houston

I was a regular customer here an was happy with the food, until I got there on a Sunday it was full. I took my mother, my unt, my son and my brother here. We order 3 soups two Pollos con tajadas. My mother changed her mind and asked to change her soup. They took an hour to serve 2 seafood soup and we were waiting on the other soup. I decided to give my meal to my mom instead and waited for the next soup. I keep asking the waitress for the last order, she keep on saying it was coming and saying it was our fault we made a change on the order. I was ok with that until I saw some people coming in after us, and they were serve same soup on bigger bowls than our table. They serve us on smaller bowls the same soup. Now I paid full price for what my table order. Everyone in my table finished eating and by this points I was so disappointed. That a bunch of people came in after us and all of them got their food but not us. The waitress was rude and have a terrible attitude. I ask her for the last time if they needed help in the kitchen I could go there and serve my self a bowl of soup, which did not needed cook anything, because it was already prepared, but I saw the cooks chilling and eating at the kitchen. After One hour and 45 minutes I finally ask for the check and told her to cancel the soup that they never brought to me. It looked like it was made on purpose to not serve me. Definitely not coming back, looks like they treat people different depending on their nationality. And don't even think about asking for Jalapenos, onion or any condiments because they will charge you like $2.50 per any additional condiments you ask for. I’d like to bring up to the owners attention that I felt deceived today Friday when I ordered “plato del día” (plate of the day which is $8.75). Under Friday there was 3 options, I even asked the waitress about it too before placing my order confirming it was plate of the day and she said yes so I went ahead and order 2 seafood soup and a salad. When I asked for the check I noticed they charged me more for the soup since it was “plate of the day” and they just said it was just 1 plate and not all 3 listed under Friday hence the confusion so I explained the confusion the menu has and they even agreed but they said they couldn’t do anything about it. even talked to the “manager” and he just said it was an old menu and they had not update it. That’s not the customers fault, it’s the restaurants by not updating their prices or giving a heads up. I DO NOT MIND PAYING FULL PRICE, $3-4 per plate is nothing to me but the principle behind it, is what irks me. I still paid full price because I didn’t want to keep going back and forth, understood that customer is not always right even though the menu is wrong and I made sure I double check with waitress before ordering.
