La Cruderia is a gem that captures the essence of authentic Mexican cuisine with unmatched passion and authenticity. From the moment I walked in, I was transported back to the comforting kitchens of Mexico, where every dish is crafted with love and tradition. The Empanadas de Camarón were a perfect balance of flavors—crispy turnovers filled with succulent shrimp, cheese, and just the right amount of jalapeño, complemented beautifully by the pico de gallo and mayo-chipotle.
The Elixir de Xochitl was an absolute delight, a refreshing and tropical blend that perfectly showcased the versatility of Mezcal 400 Conejos. The combination of pineapple water, orange juice, coconut cream, and lychee syrup was a symphony of flavors, transporting me to a sunny beach in Mexico. To top it all off, the Carajillo was the perfect ending—a rich espresso shot mixed with Licor 43, a sweet and indulgent treat that left me completely satisfied.
Even more impressive was the personalized touch they added to my meal. The chef graciously prepared a special salad not listed on the menu, which included julienned cucumber, carrots, tomatoes, onions, and avocados, all tossed in a tangy lime dressing. It was a refreshing and vibrant addition that truly showcased the restaurant's commitment to using the freshest ingredients and delivering a memorable dining experience.
What truly elevated the experience was the warm and welcoming presence of the manager, Bruno. He was ready with suggestions, guiding me through the menu with expertise and enthusiasm, ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.

Read moreThis is such a charming little spot! The colorful decor really brightens the place up, and there's a cool mural outside that’s perfect for pictures. The restrooms were clean, and the entryway to get there was pretty adorable.
The prices are quite reasonable, making it a great place for authentic Mexican cuisine. It's definitely a good option for a Friday or Saturday night date!
We started with the guacamole as an appetizer; I ordered the majarro frita, my husband went for the tostadas de pulpo, and we both enjoyed some hibiscus agua fresca.
The guacamole was incredibly fresh, but we felt it needed a little salt. My husband never adds salt to his food, but he quickly asked for some. We borrowed it from a nearby table (since we didn’t have any on ours), and once we sprinkled a bit on, it was just perfect!
I found my majarro frita to be delicious. My only concern was that the oil settled at the bottom of the plate, making the underside of the fish a bit soggy by the time I flipped it over for more meat. I couldn’t finish it all because of the oiliness, but I enjoyed what I could!
According to my husband, the tostadas de pulpo were the best he’s ever had, and he highly recommends them.
The hibiscus agua fresca was so good that I had to ask for one to take home!
The service was excellent; our waitress was very attentive. She even suggested we come back for brunch and gave us a brunch menu to consider.
In summary, this is definitely a place I look forward to visiting whenever I'm in the mood for authentic Mexican food. The pricing, atmosphere, and service were...
Read moreWe randomly stumbled upon this place and do have no regrets! We were planning to only try a simple michelada & ceviche, but ended up asking our bartender (Karla) her recommendations and so glad we did. My husband got the Michelada Picosita and I got the Michelada Tamarindo. Both Michelada’s were pretty amazing. The Michelada Tamarindo came with the best toppings: tamarind balls, gummy bears, sour straws, jicama, cucumber, peanuts, all drizzled with chamoy. Ate & drank this in a heart beat! We then ordered the Ceviche Yucateco which was the perfect pairing to our Michelada’s. This ceviche had the perfect spice while super tasty & refreshing. Karla also recommended the Tacos Gober (crispy shrimp tacos) which were also pretty damn good. Last thing we ordered were the Ostiones (broiled oysters), this item was 10/10 itself. The Serrano piquin salsa…OMG…you can pair with any of the dishes. The manager, Raquel was super friendly and accommodating as well explaining their original location to us. We will definitely be back and highly recommend requesting for Karla and Raquel! (Any Michelada will not...
