So i’d like to start off by saying that the owner and his mother are good people! They both gave me good service.

The mother’s banana pudding was out of this world!

However, I was disappointed by several things.

The Boudin balls were hyped up to be the best thing in the world! So I bought 2 plates that consisted of 2 boudin balls each and their pasta. Each plate was $40 then it was $25 for 3 boudin balls that I also got because I thought it was going to be out of this world. Also got a full plate of pasta for $25 I believe.

Each additional container of their yellow sauce that looks like cheese but isn't is $2.

First bite and I was disappointed, the boudin was not very seasoned, it was very monotone and no spice to it. The sauce is like a thousand island dressing with dill pickle in it and some other stuff.

The pasta was good but not great, only had one piece of shrimp in one of my orders.

Over all, it is definitely over hyped but it makes sense that Mexican OT and Bigxthaplug claim to be a 10/10 cause both those guys are probably never sober for more than a few minutes a day. For an avid pot smoker this would probably be amazing.

I definitely don’t mind the price but if you’re going to charge a premium, every plate you serve should merit the price.

Also the waiting in the line is ridiculous. I got there 1 hour before they opened, and was second in line. They started taking orders around 2:05 and I did not get my food till 2:40. There was about 40+ people in line and I feel bad for those behind me.

It truly does not seem like they have a sense of urgency when it comes to their customers waiting, which is sad. I read some other reviews which also said the same.

Not a horrible experience but I wouldn’t go out of my way again...

So I’ve been seeing everybody posting this place and it just looks so mouth watering so delicious and I just couldn’t wait to go and I wanted to buy it for the family but because the long lines I went with my teenager and not to mention, we waited over an hour.

I placed a big order and I bought the eight piece Pressure balls along with the Cajun pasta and Boudin fries in total spend $140.

I noticed the people behind me in line were getting their orders but I figured maybe it’s because mine is bigger but the family of 6 behind me had a big order as well but I let it slide because I was excited about this place and all the hype.

But to just to be disappointed and even my kids and husband didn't like it.

First 2 bites we all looked at each other like wow this ain’t all that and we didn’t even finish it but I can truly say I’m never going back y’all be careful don’t believe the hype. I give it a 5 out of 10.

Wish it had more flavor but just tasted plane and the dipping cheese sauce whatever it was just wasn’t good and the hot Cheetos on the outside was not satisfying I mean you couldn’t even taste much not even the hot Cheetos. Definitely wasn’t seasoned right and that goes for the Cajun pasta but the fries were alright .

I hate to leave negative reviews but I hope this place...

I will start off with the positive then go into my food experience. Now this is my opinion my tastebuds & my experience !! The new location love it, His aunt at the register very friendly & have excellent customer service. The employees that was standing where they make the food was nice speak when you come in & thank you for coming when you leave out. Didn’t wait long for food.

Now to the food experience: I feel like ppl hype it up. Paid $81 for the box that had 2 hot boudin balls & pasta. And 1 fish with pasta. Was expecting the boudin balls to have flavor & taste like Hot Cheetos but it didn’t. The fish was ok & the pasta was very dry & had no seasoning, had cheap sausage, jar Alfredo sauce, & few small shrimp I took 2 bites just to see if I was tripping but yea it still wasn’t tasteful. Let my cousin try it & she said it was not giving.

I forgot to add the boudin balls was big compared to other places. And portions were decent just wished I didn’t waste my money.
