DoƱa Irma from Imperial Bakery has the best homemade Mexican food on the East End. This is where Mexicans go eat real Mexican breakfast and lunch. Make sure to ask about what’s on the menu for the day because she has a rotating list of dishes like ā€œGuisado de calabazasā€, ā€œMole con polloā€, ā€œChicharrón en salsa verdeā€, ā€œNopalitosā€. Her food is not only why we keep coming back, but the whole experience, I honestly feel like I’m visiting my grandma. Food made with love, coffee, pan dulce and DoƱa Irma’s charisma and passion for her bakery/eatery make this place a Gem of the East End

Good pan dulce and even better tacos. DoƱa Irma is super friendly. You feel right at home when you come in. In my opinion, the tacos have a real authentic home made taste which is what I prefer. Will definitely come backs again and recommend everyone come and check it out. Seating is minimal.

Mom and Pop Mexican food joint. When you walk in, it’s like you’re going into your abuelita’s kitchen. I’m obsessed with the chicken plate currently. Her red salsa is seriously super spicy (which I love). It’s spicier than your average Chile Verde and red salsa that you get for tacos.

You will not find a yummier breakfast taco or pan dulce (sweet bread). This bakery is the epitome of Latino hospitality! When you walk in you are greeted by the sweetest bakery owner. She asks if you want some coffee and if you're hungry. It's almost like being home for me. I put some bread on a tray and when it came time to check out she said "I just pulled some of these out of the oven let me get you some fresh ones" and would run to the back to grab them. That is pure pride in the things that she makes. She wants you to taste what her pastries and food taste like fresh. She's a wonderful person and always has a smile on her face! Do yourself a favor and check this place out. It's a shining beacon just a few lights away from...

I went in the morning and they had some Salvadorian tamales that were hot and delicious. The pan dulce was also awesome. They had large portions and great tasting empanadas. I want to go back and get some breakfast tacos and coffee. Price was also very affordable. I got everything...
