Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Houston

This Jack In The Box has been a favorite of mine since I moved into the Houston area about 6 years or so ago. I've gone through drive thru, delivery ordered, and even dined in. They have always been the best quality JITB in the city consistently. UberEats will try to route me to a different one closer to me but I always change it to this one because I always get a messed up order from the other ones, whether it's missing items, missed customizations, or poor quality. I'm honestly so shocked to not see negative reviews for this specific location. I've even gotten friends and acquaintances to turn loyal to this location and have been shocked to find out they'll drive all the way across Houston to order from this one 🤭

I just want to thank the staff so much. I know you guys probably don't get paid enough to care about each order, but I feel like the effort/skill is there for sure and you guys should be proud of that at least. I've come in before after the school next door has let out and have experienced probably one of the worst cafe experiences ever by way of how those kids acted and you guys never broke professionalism. And that's just one day of me witnessing it... I'm sure you have faced a lot.

Thank you for the work you do! You guys are the best. And if you are another lurker reading these reviews please try them out over any other JITB in Houston if you're a stickler for quality and presentation. This comes from 6 years observing non-stop...

Worst manager ever!! Just left that place while I had the pleasure of being check out my the manager... Which I figured would be a plus turned out horrible. Had a terrible attitude, specially when I asked for honey mustard. Then I decide to make her day too ask for a water cup.. She declined me!! Saying there was "no water cup's".. I replied "I see clear cups right behind you". She said "no". What fast food place turns down water or restaurant period. She also wanted to say "we are selling bottles of water". . I then went to my ride an grabbed my water bottle while she noticed she added "I (the manager) have to pour it from back here" I said " why? That makes no sense, you keep changing your story" an I went to the customer's water machine an gave myself water.. which worked perfectly fine.. I will never go...

I pull up around 2:10. The lights were out from the outer area. Thought it was weird and wondered if was closed, but there were vehicles there. So pulled up to the order speaker. An inaudible voice comes on for a split second, and then laughter comes out. I go to the window, since I was baffled at what had happened. I pass two employees that I see from the corner of my eyes sitting in what appeared to be an office, and were laughing. Pull up to the window and wait, because pretty sure they saw me dive past. My passenger honks the horn. One of them comes up to the window and they say that they are closed because "the girl that works the register had an emergency, and she didn't know how to work the register."
