I hate that I have to give such a low rating but I’m very honest with my reviews. First of all the horchata tasted very watery no flavor really. Some highlights the charro beans are so packed with flavor. Definitely one of the very few places I can recommend the charro beans.
The mini tacos were a great presentation. Looked amazing. The barbacoa disappointed though. Was definitely leaning towards 3/5 on it due to the lack of flavor and how dry it was. The pork tacos though!!! I highly recommend them. If I come back again I’m definitely just getting the pork tacos.
The sope looked like it had way too much masa… and as I ate it I was right. I didn’t even eat some of the masa towards the end, it was too much. The lengua lacked flavor but was nice and tender. So yeah it’s a hit or miss with this location. Looked amazing on pics though.
Now the service here is pretty bad and I never look at reviews before I eat at a location. I read some of the past ones afterwards and it seems like this is a recurring issue. I agree. You should have someone at front greeting every customer and with the amount of workers you have. You should have more than enough people checking on the customers.
Also lack of napkins is also an issue. I wasn’t checked up on at all aside from when I got my food ordered and then got my food. That’s the only times I was engaged. I had to walk to the counter to pay. I prefer having a good customer service experience when I go to a restaurant.
I wouldn’t knock it because those pork tacos were great. But definitely work on the customer service aspect and put napkin holders in your tables.

Read moreThis place should be ashamed to even call itself a restaurant. With only TWO customers in the entire place, the food still took forever. What’s the excuse? You’ve got plenty of staff, but they’d rather hide in the restroom smoking than do their job. It’s pathetic.
The rude customer service made things even worse. The staff clearly don’t want to be there, and it shows. They nickel-and-dime you with extra fees for ridiculous things like it’s a scam, and when you ask about it, they get nasty with you. There’s nothing professional about the way this place.
And let’s talk about the so-called “manager.” Spare me your rehearsed apology because we all know it means NOTHING. I’ve read your responses to other bad reviews—always the same fake “we’ll talk to our staff” garbage, paired with a ridiculous thumbs-up emoji. The reviews keep getting worse because your restaurant is a joke, and no amount of excuses will fix that.

Read moreWhere do i start.. I ordered A small guac and the pozole and my bf ordered the menudo. It took about 15 mins to get chips and salsa and our drinks. The guac never came and about 30mins have passed by this point. A guy comes to say there is no more menudo left and my bf says just give me pozale too and the guy says ok and 10 mins pass and they come back and say there is only enough pozale for one bowl so he orders caldo de res. Then they say they have enough for 2 bowls of pozole and another 15 mins pass and then the soup finally comes out. It was very good but it barely had any meat. It seemed like they cut the meat into smaller chunks to make it stretch out to make 2 bowls. We went to go pay and the cashier asked about our meal and i only mentioned that the pozole barely had meat not how long the wait was or anything else. But he just said sorry.
