Kolache Factory — Restaurant in Houston

The employees continue to steal the money when you pay in cash. I used to manage a couple different restaurants and a bakery... Its difficult to know exactly how much you should be making when you have to throw out a different amount of food every day. These employees know that there is no way to track cash transactions or how many kolaches just walk out the door.

When you get your total and hand them a bill they will do the math in their head (often times rounding) and then proceed to open the register and give you change. If you watch the register screen you can see that cash is never input and the transaction is cancelled once you leave. To throw them through a loop, ask for a receipt. It will not print unless they close the order, which will require them to put it back in the register.

Never ordering from this place again. I ordered 3 large kolaches trays for the company I work for. I specifically applied eggs, cheese kolaches and potato, egg and cheese kolaches for some of my coworkers who are allergic to ham. In the trays, they apply labels and are supposed to apply the specific kolaches in that row in which the label are applied. Well they messed up the rows and applied the incorrect kolaches. My coworker who is allergic to ham ate a kolache with ham. Immediately he started vomiting. He could have died! from this mistake at their kolache factory. Imagine if he was a child......

I come here all the time on the daily almost. Every single time I come, they are fast, friendly, reliable, and very helpful. Jesus especially is very attentive to your needs and very quick. From the small things to the big things like asking if I want any sauce with that or asking if I want any creamer with my coffee. I even came in one time and didn’t keep track of my rewards points, but they did and they let me know that I had something for free because I had built up points. The food is fresh.
