On The Kirb — Restaurant in Houston

Been to this place when it was on Kirby. This new location doesn't have good service. Service was extremely lagging and slow. We got there for brunch right when they opened. There were maybe 5 other tables with ppl. The place was practically empty. The waitress took forever just to bring coffee then forgot the cream. Took another 15 minutes just to get that. I couldn't order a cappucino because she said the bar tender couldn't make it since they don't have the proper equipnent. What?? Also ordered truffle fries which i never got and never got coffee refilled. My friend had to go ask the manager for refills. The food was mediocre at best. I ordered the avocado toast. It was not toast! It was a soggy piece of bread smothered in salsa and the avocado didn't look fresh. My friend ordered the pumpkin french toast. Where's the pumpkin? It literally tasted just like regular french toast. Not even the slightest hint of pumpkin. Overall, not a very good expierence. The service was way better at their other location. Won't...

First time, but not at the Kirby Dr. I will say, it was a bit slow, so we had fantastic service. The waitress, waiter, and everyone else that was involved were all polite, efficient, and had a smile, the whole time. The alcoholic drinks were great, fresh, and we'll suited, for the person who likes to taste the actual drink, not all fillers, if you get me. The atmosphere is full of something to watch on the "generous" amount of televisions. Not too loud, but big area and open, so you will get some noise, but hey, its a "social gathering place!" Plus, the Al Fresco dining, with covered amd cooler than I thought! (94f outside with sun beaming. No issues for the 15 min we were under the cover. I was impressed! We had 20 people all together. The one waitress did an awesome job!! I highly recommend this place!! Grilled BIG Ribeye, was fantastic and cooked-grilled, perfectly! Mashed potatoes and Asparagus, "Spot-on!" We also brought competition plates, and they offered to clean them all for us!! So........

Gaby did absolutely amazing with his service and patience with helping us order. This new location over here off 59 is sooooo nice and parking, there is plenty. The food is amazing and even the mocktails. The presentation was beautiful and very tasty. I want to brag on JADON! She is a hustler and we watched her help so much in the restaurant with guest on greeting and checking in on us. We are so thankful to have met her and crossed paths with her. We have never seen bar managers assist and come help out on the floor with team members. If you come in, visit Jadon. I found this place back in 2016 when they brought us samples of food to our apt community when I worked in the apartment industry. They brought flyers to give to our residents to come out and visit. Such a great marketing strategy. So happy this is so close to us where we can bring so many family and friends. Great location and setup …...
