McDonald's — Restaurant in Houston

this is a McDonald’s so there’s not much that I can tell you. I wish that I could say more and endlessly about every single different McDonald’s in the world, but unfortunately, that counts as spam on Google Maps. It is unfortunate that when I was trying to do that on my last account is that I lost my Google guides status. Now I am trying to restart from the beginning and I have gone up very quickly already and I am very grateful for Houston for that reason. That being said, if you are reading this, please do me a favor and try your best to boycott McDonald’s for me, I come here sometimes because I have to eats, it’s by no means a luxury and I try my best to eat elsewhere, but I know that that can get expensive. You know that they along with many other huge conglomerate/monopolies have been spending tons of money on the Israeli government and the military. This is how the continuation of genocide happens and the death of children. Yes, there may be multiple factors to the story, but where does the suffering end? You can have a piece of the pie by doing your civic duty and taking care of your meals elsewhere. I understand if you were homeless, financially, struggling, having food, insecurity, or struggling in any other way. Regardless, just remember that it’s one thing at a time and try to limit your meals and exposure to this place. And of course do not advertise it. I hope that I can continue being a advocate in my community and speaking up for problems facing our people. Please have my back and stand up for me and help me by making sure I stay safe. I went to this location today and the service was excellent. I'm not sure if the management knows that or not but the entire staff was doing an amazing job. They were very patient with everyone who was going into the lobby. I had a complicated order & asked for specific customized burgers but they completed the job excellently. The people waiting on customers all had smiles & made sure we were all good. I think this is a much improved location from previous visits. They have really impressed me with this visit. I hope that someone reaches out to them and let them know that today around 3:45 p.m -4:15 pm they had very excellent service. One worker was barely clocking in but he was ready to help out right away. I feel like we need more workers like him and the manager Javier. There was also a vert nice lady with dreds doing amazing ! There was a young Hispanic man doing absolutely awesome multitasking. We need more of this in the workforce. This McDonald's location had poor customer service. I sent my son inside to purchase four five dollar gift cards with a $20 bill. He returned to the car with four $5 bills explaining that when he asked for the gift cards this is what the woman behind the cash register gave to him. I sent him back inside to get the gift cards and the girl behind the register told him to wait to the side until the line went down. Fifteen minutes later she still had not acknowledged my son. I went inside to determine the delay and asked to speak with a manager. When the manager approached the girl who told my son to wait was behind the counter explaining that she asked my son to wait because there is no one at the restaurant except the manager who can process requests for gift cards. So, I questioned did she get the manager. She explained that she did get the manager but the manager was too busy completing other tasks. The manager of the restaurant, present July 26, 2018 at 8:30-9:00 A.M. did not address me. The manager only addressed the girl behind the counter.
