Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Houston

In a nutshell the interaction over the phone was a pleasant one, had to call back and express my concerns about my order. I had ordered online and received my food in a timely manner but my wings were burned to a crisp yet stone cold. The pizza was requested well done but it was not, cold pie too, heartbroken! The condition in which my food arrived was deplorable! Garlic parmesan had seeped out and soaked it's container and the pizza box. Being they are 0.6 miles away and my food was transported by motor vehicle makes me question why was the food cold? So to recap, order was not made correctly, food was cold, arrived in nasty condition. I requested a refund but they refused, offering me a remake...seeing that the initial experience left a bad taste in my mouth, no pun intended, I refused it. Saddens me when chains forget the basic principle in respect to the food industry and that is consistency is golden, especially when operating with standardized recipes. Best of luck to this franchise, this neighborhood is changing and it's clientele will not appreciate this...

Placed a order for delivery ETA was 35-45 mins. After 45 mins I figured I would give them 15 more mins as a courtesy. After 1 hour 15 mins the tracking order stated delivered. I checked my front door no order delivered. I called the restaurant the lady who answered was lost and stated they would place another order and it would be delivered within 30 mins. After 15 mins there was still no notification on tracking the order so I called to have the order canceled. They agreed to cancel the order. 35 mins after they called and stated they could not cancel the order and that I would have to file a fraud dispute with my bank to have the charge canceled. Even asked for the tip to be refunded and stated they couldn’t do that. Asked to speak with a manager. Employee stated she was not there. Asked what happened to the original order and employee stated he don’t know he didn’t ask the driver he just let him go home. Excuses after excuses after excuses. My delivery experience on 04/28/20 was horrible. I paid for an additional cup of garlic sauce and expected to receive it with my order. Wrong! I called this location and spoke with a lady who was extremely rude. She stated that she would NOT send a driver back out to deliver my garlic sauce cup and did not provide me with a refund. Yes i know the amount is small, however, it is the principle that this location would just take my money and run. When I asked to speak to the manager, she claimed she was the manager(i highly doubt it). This lack of service is not what I would expect but I guess they don't care.
