Posted Hours are Only a Suggestion I'm am sitting in the drive through currently. It is 6:12AM; I have been waiting for 3 minutes for someone to talk to me through the speaker. I drove around the location again to check the business hours posted on the door before driving into the drive through again: 6:00-12:00. The signs are lit, the inside is lit, and there are employees inside. No one has said a word to me either through the drive through speaker or in person. Since this is the closest McDonalds to our house we have been here a few times. Getting your order correct at this location is much like gambling on a roulette wheel in Vegas.
6:14AM-There are now 3 other cars waiting. Still nothing.
6:15AM-the two other drivers have given up and driven away. An HISD school bus has parked in the lot.
6:19AM-I have shifted to park and shut off my engine. Someone in there is going to make a McGriddle, come hell or high water. The HISD bus has departed.
6:21AM-Potential customer #5 so far has pulled in behind me.
6:23AM-10 minutes have passed since I pulled up. Nothing.
6:27AM-potential customer #5 has given up and driven away. Two other customers tried to go inside and have also left. #8 has pulled up behind me.
6:30AM-This location, according to its own signage, SHOULD now have been open for half an hour.
6:33AM-I have been parked at the order screen for 20 minutes now.
6:36AM-Finally! Someone speaks! I've placed an order!
I asked the drive through employee what time this location opened. "We usually open at 6, but something was wrong with the system and it wouldn't let us open." I asked why they might not have mentioned that to me at 6:12AM. "I'm sorry sir. We couldn't do anything about it."
Yes, you could have posted a sign and/or said something through the speaker.
I can't wait for the incoming competitors who have purchased the adjacent property to show the owner or this craptastic location what "doing something about...
Read moreHere's an update for you came in just a few minutes ago to the same McDonald's trying to give them another try. although nobody has contacted me from the McDonald's everytime I call their number it just rings busy. I went in to get the new chicken strips with the barbecue sauce the young man tells me at the counter that there is no meal although I seen it on the screen and pointed toward the screen. he tells me there is no meal so he has to charge me separate I tell him okay upon receiving my items he tells me we didn't have any barbecue sauce to pour over the strips so what would you like? I said okay I'll take the honey mustard sauce so clearly he knew I was talking about chicken strips I pointed up at the screen several times to show him chicken strips. But upon me leaving and opening up my bag I discovered that he never gave me chicken strips he gave me chicken nuggets 4 pieces of chicken nuggets like a kids Happy Meal. If he was really trying to do his job he would have greeted me when I came in but it took 10 minutes for him to come up and take my order. Instead of listening to me when I said chicken strips and watch where my finger is pointing to the screen on the new chicken strips he puts in an order for a Happy Meal plays me like I'm going to receive my chicken strips cuz he talks about it but in the bag no strips just four pieces of Nuggets. As I said before beware this place it was five people around nobody's cleaning the place looks a wreck if I was the owner I would shut it down before someone else calls the news and gets them to shut you down terrible Place very terrible
The mgr couches and talks over people's food. Ordered a apple pie which was over baked and old. Second time in this place and it's dirt with flies all around the food... Not coming back. Long lines because people are on lunch and need something fast. Please order at your jobs anything is better than the service and quality...
Read moreI ordered my food and it was correct on the screen and receipt. I get home and the burger wasn't even close. I returned and asked for the burger that I ordered. The "manager" took the receipt and my bag. She passed my bag to the cook and asked for a remake. (First of all GROSS, I HAD ALREADY LEFT WITH THE BAG) Secondly, I was confused because my receipt correctly had no onions, add mayo, but she did not say those specifics. So I called her over and brought that to her attention. She then told the cook what was on the receipt. I smiled at my patience. (Hindsight, I see why the reviews are bad.)
The manager goes on to do other tasks. The cook returns with my burger. He looks for her a few times. I called to him, but he didn't hear me. Then he reaches to the other side and dropped the burger in a bag. That bag was not given to me. Another employee grabbed the bag and went straight to the window. They walked passed me and I said I think you gave them an extra burger. She looked lost. I replied can you please find your manager. She returns and I softly said...please refund my money. She quickly rushed to the cook and told him not to make my burger. Really!! LMAO I told her "Oh he made it and then it was given to someone in drive thru." She said nothing. She just typed on the register. She is very young and clearly unbothered about the care and structure needed to manage people, especially ones that are her same age. I said, "I get it, but you guys have to do better." She said nothing. I swiped my card and she handed the receipt to me.
No point in me getting upset. She is not a manager at my business and clearly McDonald's doesn't care about having a standard. I know who...
