Mr. Tendies — Restaurant in Houston

As a self-proclaimed chicken wing snob, I’ve spent years searching for the holy grail of wings—turns out, it was hiding at Mr. Tendies all along. These wings weren’t just good; they were life-changing. Perfectly crispy, insanely juicy, and sauced to perfection. The Buffalo Fries were also 10/10. I’m convinced the wings and fries are the reason I woke up without a hangover after a full day of questionable choices on the Houston Bike Bar tour. Science can’t explain it, but Mr. Tendies can.

Beyond the wings, the staff and owner, David, were absolute legends—attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about their food. Do yourself a favor and get to Mr. Tendies ASAP. Your taste buds—and possibly your future...

Pricey and very oily chicken-- 6 chicken tenders and fries for $30s plus tax and tip (ended up paying $40 or more). I guess drunk and hungry customers don't care. Although the salesperson and cashier were very friendly, they were so slow because they were just flirting with customers and didn't care the line or who's next in the queue. Worse, I ordered 3 items and only 2 items available when picking up. They said they were gonna refund (about $11). Still no refund! Fries were good and came hot and fresh. The tenders came out barely warm and then cold as got to center as if they cooked a bunch earlier at once maybe . The bourbon glaze sauce was good though. We took them up and they warmed them up for us but apparently on the grill as they then came back hot but were burnt tasting and that was covered up by new sauce. When the manager checked on us later, we explained to him as courtesy and he did offer to give us a meal...
