Even though I had attended multiple classes at this studio, the front entrance was never locked. However, this Sunday, for some reason, it was closed. The class location is already challenging to find, but I had read the description beforehand and arrived five minutes early.
I have been working out for years and have never missed a class. It was also raining that day, so I tried calling the number listed when I found out the front door was closed. I believe the lady on the phone was the owner and one of the most condescending people I have ever encountered. Even though I was early, she started blaming me for being late and said I should have read the location description.
I explained to her that this was not my first time at the studio, that I had read the location description a long time ago, and that I had never had any issues entering the building before. The rain had made the parking lot muddy, and if I parked there, I would have to wash my shoes and get a car wash afterward. I had to walk all the way down to another parking lot while it was raining, which took me about five minutes. The lady on the phone was neither helpful nor empathetic; she was very rude.
I arrived just a few minutes late but could attend the class without issues. However, a week later, I discovered the instructor had marked me as a no-show. I was shocked, as I have never missed a class on ClassPass or at any other studio. I contacted the studio to ask why I was marked absent, and once again, that condescending lady answered the phone. She tried to make me feel like it was all my fault.
I told her that she had lost a great customer and that I would never return to their studio again. I then contacted ClassPass and explained what happened, and they confirmed my attendance for that class. I hope the owner eventually learns to be friendlier and more helpful to her customers. From the reviews I have read, it seems I am not the only person who has experienced this issue.
I have perfect attendance, and my advice to others is to avoid this studio altogether because the owner has serious attitude problems. If you encounter any issues, she will not help you and instead blame you for whatever is happening. I wish I could give zero. One star is not what...
Read moreBooked through ClassPass, was extremely excited to try Pilates for the first time at a WOC-owned business. Showed up early (second to show up), found the location & waited for class to start, only to find out that the class had been overbooked. Since members get priority (understandable), had to surrender my reformer to someone else who was also a first-timer but who booked directly through the studio as opposed to CP. They did offer to honor my credits at the class starting at the next hour, but I didn’t have flexibility to stay. I wish they would have realized that the class was overbooked in advance, so I could have saved my...
Read moreLove this class! They focus on form and quality instead of quantity. They explain everything super well, including the directions to get inside. All of the teachers here are amazing, but I have most of my sessions with Claudia. You can tell all the instructors are passionate about what they are doing, and, it’s always a great way to add to your routine for only 45 minutes. Also love that the class is smaller so it is more intimate and you can get more clear directions if need be. Also, it’s super clean that’s one of the most important...
