I know I’ve reviewed this place before but I can’t find it. I’m really upset. I left in tears. There weren’t that many tables in the main area, plus the young girl wouldn’t let us sit in the other area for unknown reasons. We only had two tables to choose from, excluding a large table we obviously wouldn’t choose. One clean, right smack dab in the middle of the place surround with a bunch of people but I wanted to be next to the wall, for I suffer from PTSD. It had two dirty bowls. And maybe a plate. It didn’t even have drinks on them. The girl didn’t say one word but when I said no to the crowded table and pointed at the dirty table, her body slumped over, she was terrible at trying to hide her facial expression, for doing this task was soooooo bothersome for her. Or maybe she forgot her job title and description. She forgot she wasn’t at home, and at work, to serve people and make money for the restaurant. She surely wasn’t trying to make money for herself. So she clearly had no respect for the resturaunt either. I was too upset to ask for a manager. I doubt she was even there. I’ve seen her. The one during the day. She is the only one that dresses nice and says hi to people and at least try to look like she’s happy to see money walk in. I know she represents the restaurant and I want to talk to her. I’m not rich, I tip the best I can, and I always and only come here for their food. We are fat, WE WILL BUY LARGE AMOUNT OF FOOD which means more money for you. But just one attitude from some chick my age or younger, has made you lose a loyal customer. I never would have expected this from any of you. That punk little girl can SUCK IT. If you want to gain a customer back. Please contact me. Or...

Went twice, and the phở broth has been consistently great. First time noticed there was a combo meal that was pretty decent and offered a nice discount if you grouped together a rice/noodle plate with an egg roll and fried egg added to it, and a drink (dine in only), so I took the Bún Thịt Nướng while my husband had a bowl of Phở Dặc Biệt

Second time we took advantage of the meal deal but with two phởs as the weather was much chillier then. The combo was filling enough, we ended up with leftover broth which was a great sipper for the trip back home.

The spring rolls were fresh both times, and the sauce was definitely something they put together as it was much sweeter than I'm used to although that didn't stop me from clearing about half a bowl of it. Egg rolls have a nice crisp texture and satisfying filling, served with their piece of lettuce to prevent you from destroying the roof of your mouth.

Only true complaint I have is that the fish sauce is also sweeter than I usually have experienced elsewhere, as it seems most of their sauces are made on the sweeter side in general (there's a spice paste on the table that also leans into sweet with tamarind paste)

Table is self seating, and you go up to the register to pay. Service is nice and fast, and I believe that the owners stop by randomly to keep an eye on the place so that's good, as you'll know they're keeping tabs on things around the restaurant. Overall satisfied so far and will be coming back as it has been the only decently priced restaurant I could get warm spiced broth that's rich in...

The service here is absolutely mind-blowingly terrible. I could write sonnets for how awful it was, but I'll give you the highlights:

My husband ordered a soda Chan muoy and after 10 minutes he still had no drink, I flagged down the server (who btw was extremely rude) and asked about it, he rolled his eyes went back to the kitchen and came back saying "oh they don't have it".

I ordered an over easy egg, the egg came burned. literally burned. I asked if they could remake it, he literally said no. I was shocked, I said "You made it incorrectly and now you won't fix your mistake?" He literally rolled his eyes and sighed and went to the back and returned saying "he said he's not doing it" I put the egg in a bowl and gave it back to him telling him to not charge me. It was then that they brought me a new egg.

No refills, food was reasonable quality, but with how absolutely terrible the service is I will never, ever return. It will ruin your night, learn from my mistake of ignoring the...

The broth here was solid. Not too heavy on spices. Not too sweet. Very balanced broth. The veggies were fresh. The meatballs were great. I did not like the flank that much but maybe the brisket would’ve been better. The size of a large bowl came with a good amount of noodles. Since this is an older establishment, it is expected to not look as nice. However, you can obviously see that all the table tops are peeling and somewhat sticky. The cleanliness could be better. I have also had the beef stew here which is great. The broth is well flavored. The only downside is the meat can sometimes be not that tender. Whenever the meat is tender, though, it’s a great meal. As a Vietnamese person, I would recommend this place.

I have been coming to Pho Thy for the last 3-4 years. In my experience I have never had issues here. Pros: Staff is friendly! Food has always tasted delicious. Soup has great taste and it’s always warm. Cons: I believe they slightly increased their prices (Early June 2021). If your ever on this side of town. Please check Pho Thy!! Good Pho for great prices!
