Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Houston

This place is okay if you're hungry. It's not your best Popeyes but it is not your worst. When you are hungry you are going to go where it is good. Like any other Popeyes this place is crowded on a Tuesday. I guess because they have that special. The people here are nice with sometimes if you come up the wrong time you will get people that really don't care. But it is not too bad. Whatever you do do not get the macaroni. I love the French fries here. The chicken is good here. I guess I give it three stars because of the location where it is at. Sometimes you go and you see the workers smoking outside and that kind of makes me not want to get the food but hopefully they watched their hands. I'm coming back when I'm hungry for Popeyes but if you really want to go to a good Popeyes you need to go to the one on Harrisburg in Magnolia. I will give them 5 stars. It is real nice inside. It is one of the only Popeyes without glass in front of the cashier. This Popeye is going to have the big glass and they give you your food through a little cut through the window. I eaten here before and there foods pretty good. They had a bad review about flouring their chicken on the floor so not for sure how true this was but I stopped going there for awhile and went to new location on Jensen and Tidwell but they're not anyway better in preparing your food like it should be. I gotten my food and it was cold and tasted like it at been sitting under the light for a while on one of my visits. But you never know for sure when someone else is cooking the food you desire cause not every employee or owner take pride in serving the public cause I worked in food service and I witnessed my boss dropping a piece of fried chicken and was putting with the rest of chicken and I called him out on it and he said Linda I'm putting it back in the fryer but I said I wouldn't eat that and don't want to give to my customers so he said ok Linda I'll eat it myself and...

I went into Popeye's today sort of hungry. I decided to get my daughter a chicken sandwich and I got myself a new flounder fish sandwich the patty is really big. It really does have a lot of flavor bursting through. I do wish however that it had some lettuce tomato and cheese on it I think maybe it will be a little better. Add a little bit more sauce to.

Overall it's not too bad it's pretty big for the price you pay. It also has a little bit of spiciness making me really enjoy it because I like spicy as well. The young lady at the drive-thru was pretty nice she offered to make it fresh and hot for us granted I was willing to wait. Yes I was willing to wait cause I like my food hot.
