Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Houston

UPDATED REVIEW The team at Rita's has really improved their portion sizes! I really appreciate a business that values the input of their patrons. Most of the time I use door dash to order, but when I requested to have plain strawberry flavored ice on the menu for the next day, they did exactly that! Also, it should be noted that the speed of service has also improved significantly as well. I am very pleased with this place, and I will continue to order there 2-3 times a week.

Wednesday 6/ 4 had the worst ever experience at ugly, messy Rita's Italian & not frozen. I ordered two strawberry shortcake cements. Never expected to have a girl come from the picnic table to assist and failed to wash her hands. Then,poured out the very sloopy drink in the trash. And the young man handed me a very sloopy drink. Did not look at all like the picture, it was a pink explosion. I refused asked for a refund, the guy said that service was rendered. Have been a couple of times and everything has been delicious. Yes, the wait is a little long, but they just opened. Everything is expensive these days. It might be slightly more expensive than DQ, but is much better quality.
