Sam Tacos (Food Truck) — Restaurant in Houston

The food is excellent a little bit greasy for my taste but overall decent , the tostadas are fresh which are my favorite . The only reason I’m giving them a 3 star review is because of the salsa situation . It hasn’t been my first time here but they get stingy on that which I understand that there’s a limit based on what you get but in my case usually order tostadas there and they’re delicious. This time around I placed one tostada order and 4 tacos for someone else and I was given 2 salsas ... um which did bother me because I mean how do they not know its not for like someone else I ended up asking for 3 more I was fine with paying more but I mean if feel like they should maybe fix that because I mean if your order different plates they should maybe put one salsa depending on what your ordering .I don’t expect them to give salsas from left to right like Oprah 🤣of course put a limit based on what they order . The salsa is the crown on tacos ❤️ Over all they’re a good taco truck I recommend it I hope they take this as a open mind recommendation 🤷🏻‍♀️. But I do reccomend this truck because they do have good food and I hope they grow...

So I was making "empanadas" in the oven and...idk what happened to them it was a complete failure so I told my husband, we gotta go get something else to eat because my empanadas do NOT look nice lol I found this place on google, the pictures looked really good so we drove 21 minutes to it and wow. My husband ordered 6 tacos ate them all and went and ordered 4 more "to go" (we both always get hungry right after 10pm). I ordered a Mexican burger (super yummy!!!) And a chicken gordita. We will definitely be coming back!! I highly recommend this place ALSO you get an order of frijoles charros if you spend more than $7.00 dollars so yeah, we will be...

Service was great, super friendly staff!! Food was pretty good nice flavors. I’ve been looking for good street tacos in this area for a while now. Nothing compares to tacos by Wayside/gulfgate area. Anyways here has been the best so far. Husband said burrito was really good. I got the 6 tacos deal they have, everything was good expect the tortillas. They were a bit stale. Other than that everything else was good. Will be back but next time will try the other dishes...
